I am not sure if what people want is to spend an eternity wasting time, or if we didn't waste time maybe we wouldn't need eternity. I once tried the bible of time management: "How to gain control of your time and life", by Alan Lakein, I think. Found it unreadable.------------------ And I will give thee the treasures of darkness Isiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

My earliest recollection of controling time was when I was at a boarding school I hated. I determined to make the long summer holiday last as long as possible and I made it deliberately tedious, turning down all interesting activity and embracing dullness and boredom like a long lost friend. It was a succesful experiment. That was a long summer.------------------ And I will give thee the treasures of darkness Isiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

An eternity of wasting time sounds sort of appealing to me. In high-school, I had a teacher who said something I've always remembered. He said "It's always those people who don't know what they want to do with their lives who want to live forever." It took me some thinking, but I finally realized that he was dead wrong. IP: Logged |

i guess it would depend on your definition of "wasting" time... IP: Logged |

"wasting time" Yes that does need to be defined. I love coming to Lindaland and posting at times that have no relation to what's on the clock where I "live". A small but significant victory.------------------ And I will give thee the treasures of darkness Isiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

Before there was a need to sell wristwatches, people had many individual approaches to timekeeping, the church bell chimed out regularly and people used prayers to time things, for instance: four Our Fathers for thr bread to rise etc.------------------ The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; Matthew 21:42 IP: Logged |

Even Lindaland has a time zone. ------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

Kind of weird to have a global site be confined to one time zone. Maybe there's a way to make it adjustable for each Knowflake.------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |
