That should not divert you from the message. The cult of youth, along with "positive" thinking is part of the dumbing down of society.------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

The fact that Icke is a nut job does taint his message. He was telling everyone he was the second coming of Christ before he got on the reptilian bandwagon.IP: Logged |

I would be careful about calling someone a nut job. People might also say that about a person who believed in astrology and immortality.------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

True, but no one here claims to be the second coming of Jesus. IP: Logged |

It is legitimate to claim to be the son of God, since we are all sons of God. He did not claim to be Jesus. This is way off topic, but anyway, my problem would not be that he made fantastic claims in order that the authorities would choose to make him a laughing stock, rather than kill him. My only reservation would be, is he really on the side of the oppressed, or is he a schill for the state.------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

No, he went on British television claiming he was THE one and only second coming of Jesus Christ himself. But perhaps he is not so much of a nutjob as a con man. He has his followers believing that there are lizards everywhere while he charges outrageous fees to lecture them and laughs all the way to the bank. IP: Logged |

A person can claim to be Christ without claiming to be Jesus. Icke charges less than many astrologers and the lizard stuff does not originate with him. As for "followers!", we are now talking about millions of people, some of them highly respected and intelligent. As I said before, for me, that is not the important part, the important question is what are his intentions?------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

He actually charges quite a bit for live appearances where he rants about lizard people. His intentions? To make money, of course!IP: Logged |

since this is now a thread about David Icke: He lectures for nine hours at a time and the fee per hour works out to be modest. People on modest incomes go to modest venues and pack them out to hear him. There is no pizazz or showbiz stuff and no commercials. He could have made money by staying as a pretty boy presenter on BBC TV.------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

I have no idea how much he earns, but I do know what was happening at the time he came ut with the lizard stuff. They were trying to lock him up in a mental asylum. He needed all the friends he could get. If he had pointed out that evil things were being done by human beings, that would not have gained him any friends, so he displaced it on to a reptile species, in self defence.------------------ And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places Isaiah 45:3 IP: Logged |

I have a book called Primordial Breath: An Ancient Chinese Way of Prolonging Life. It's really great... available on Amazon. I've gotten roped into some karmic relationship stuff and been off track but last winter i wasreally keen on total regeneration/healing.. moving slow.. being minimal... Happy remembering pleasure is good, never getting angry...IP: Logged |

I found that not using the Internet really helped too, i progressed rapidly in healing when my phone fell in the toilet probably anything addictive or to which we have an attachment can be draining... Being vibrantly constantly conscious of the breath and breathing through the skin though... no matter what you're doing or not doing, remaining conscious and alive in the moment, yet supple and relaxed and at ease.. unless it's time to move fast... for everything there is a time... Would love, love to read StarSigns.. a friend has it and is going to let me read it. I posted a quote from this forum to Facebook and she got in touch saying she has some books. I've actually not read any of her books but as i read through the forum descriptions and such I am noticing she and I have a lot of shared feelings... re medicine... and things. Excited to read Gooberz. Sorry this is off topic! IP: Logged |

Wow so interesting! I guess that is the same than Leonard Orr talks about, when he talks about breathing tecniques and rebirthing. He says is basic for immortality

Yes I thought being away from the sun was so important too, I got very paranoid with it as I have a very very white sensitive skin and I get freakles with the sun. But then I got to know that a bit of sun its actually important for your health and therefore for your skin. Because the sun has prana, which is like... the force of life. Thats why... when you are sick you meed fresh air and sun light. Plus some sunblockers got a crazy amoung of harmfull chemicals which oxidates your skin more than a bit of sun will. So... it is definetely important to use sun protection and its not good at all to be on the beach just like... gettimg fried under the sun. But having no sun at all seems its pretty bad too. Too unnatural.
