Pomegranate juice is also a antioxidant rich juice. Its packed with high levels of vitamin C, B, potassium, and polyphenols. It reduces the risk of heart disease, decreased levels of LDL cholesterol, diminished skin wrinkling and the inhibition of various types of cancer. If you don't want to drink the juice then Supplements are also available as extracts in concentrated form. Drinkng 3-5 ounces a day is all it takes to reap the benefits of this amazing super fruit. I drink it everyday. IP: Logged |

Hello,The dark berries are receiving a lot of attention in recent years. I am happy to see that pomegranate mentioned here. For more info about that fruit, check out "In Praise of the Pomegranate" by Monica Palmer. It is a very thorough and well written book. There should be more talk abut it. If youth-ing via grapes and other dark fruits is the goal for some in this thread please consider other factors as well. Many of us are urban dwellers. We do not get sufficient sunlight like we used to. So it will take much longer to experience the effect that you are looking for because the fruit is busy scavenging radicals. If we manage to get more sunlight, which is a very powerful at scavenging free radicals, then, perhaps, the body can utilize the fruit for cellular healing and it restoration to reflect it own original blueprint. Keeping the last sentence in mind, there is much for use to do in our conduct and habits to optimize and restore cellular functioning. The fruits need assistance in order to do what they need to do. I've been working in the wine industry for the last 3 years. I've found some pudmed studies from Japan and the NHS (anti-cancer effects) showing that resveratrol needs to bind to fat as it is consumed to be effective. This may be why resveratrol shows inconsistent results. The brain is mostly fat and in adult humans uses 20% of total energy on average. For this reason I am juicing concord grapes with lime and M.C.T. coconut oil twice day. Certainly tastes good, water down to taste. Will update results. Cheers Scott ------------------

Hello, Several years ago, I developed a drink that would help my recovery due to a fall. While I was looking for something that would help me on the cellular level, I came across a one two combination that would firstly, scavenge the free radicals and, secondly, assist in softening the cell walls for optimal delivery of what I was taking. the first ingredient was vitamin C and the second ingredient was lecithin. I was ambivalent about sharing this but given the urgency of the times, I chose to share this. Here is a little info about resveratrol and how it is enhanced when combined with lecithin. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24206683 Pathseeker IP: Logged |

You can take Reservatol pills. You can buy it in a pharmacy or throught internet. The brant Solgar sells it. I guess thats will have same effect than grape juice. I bought it to travel because if you are traveling, and sleping im hostels and all that, there is no way you can have everyday one or two liters of grape juice. Plus... I don't like the taste that much either. IP: Logged |
