The grape juice, especially fresh, has the necessary life force for the benefits, rather than just taking resveratrol. The life force in fresh food and juice is an essential component of its benefits and no amount of extracting its individual vitamins is going to be able to replace the original quality.
I'm not saying you can absorb more resveratrol from grape juice than from the supplements, but I'm saying that, specifically in the context of immortality and general well being, the life force of the grape itself is essential rather than the individual components extracted.
Grape juice does have a lot of sugar, so any way to reduce that if you have blood sugar issues would probably be good, but I would think even drinking a little bit diluted is better than nothing. I can't remember how many glasses of grape juice Linda said to drink daily. I'll have to check later, but if you can find a grape juice that doesn't spike your blood sugar then more power to you.
Grape juice has some important benefits:
The below is copy-pasted from the summary of a Brazilian study (link at the end if you want to read the whole thing).
Cell cycle analysis showed that HG (high-fat diet) promoted damage to the [liver] tissue, reducing the viable cell content and increasing apoptosis, even when associated with wine consumption or isolated resveratrol. However, JG (grape juice) protected the liver against cell damage generated by the diet. Consumption of grape juice, even associated with a high-fat diet, represents a promising protection of the liver against cellular damage, but red wine further affects the tissue, and resveratrol alone was able to reduce damage but did not minimize cellular damage to the liver.
(So grape juice protects against cellular damage. At least in the liver, which affects ageing big time.)

Red grape juice also
* prevents damage to blood vessels in your heart,
* purifies the blood (the kidneys process and clean the blood and in Eastern tradition is the main source of chi or life force, so keeping the blood clean makes them work less hard,
* and, lastly, in honor of Randall :

Two small studies have shown that drinking Concord grape juice vs. an added sugar, low-polyphenol drink (placebo) improves memory function in older adults with age-related memory decline.[1][2] In one of those studies, the researchers used a technique called functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to look at specific areas of the brain.[2] What they found was that the grape juice drinkers had increased blood flow in two regions of the brain linked to memory when compared to the placebo drinkers. Although more science is needed, this suggests that 100% grape juice’s circulation benefit may help keep your heart and your mind healthy.
Researchers from the UK discovered that Concord grape juice enhanced cognitive function in people with busy, stressful lifestyles – specifically working moms of pre-teens.[3] During this study, 40-50-year-old women participated in a series of brain-bending tasks, including a driving simulator challenge. Mom drivers that drank the grape juice for several weeks (vs. a low-polyphenol drink), were more attentive and quicker to react behind the wheel. These learnings were reinforced with a second small study, which found that drinking a daily serving of 100% grape juice made with Concord grapes (vs. a low-polyphenol drink) had an immediate, positive impact on both mood and attention in young adults (mean age of 21 years).[4]
