very, very sweet.

I heard another story, where..

A woman coming home from work, found her car kept stalling. She pulled over, and since she doesn't really work with cars, she waited there to see if someone would stop to help her.

A man pulled over five minutes later, and fixed her car. She offered to repay him, but he just said to do an act of kindness for someone else.

On her way home, she stopped at a diner. The woman behind the counter was very kind, and seemed to be pregnant. They talked for a little while, and before she left, she remembered what the man had done for her, and she slipped a $50 under her glass.

The woman considered it a godsend, and told her husband (who ended up being the guy who fixed the car) about it. They were nearly broke, and the money was a kindness they couldn't repay.

Anyhow, it went something like that. Sort of shows you that what goes around, comes around.

I have been purusing through the long-forgotten threads and I came upon this wonderful thread. And, yes, the link still works, and I even sent the story on to my friends and family. I also want to pull it to the top, because I want everyone to see it again, and for those who are new. I believe in random acts of kindness, and also the Pay It Forward movement (which is really the same thing).
