I suggest the United Way. They've had a long history in helping out people. They are active and extemely voal in getting corporate and government funding and they do distribute such funds to non-profit organizations that would not have otherwise have gotten financial help on their own. But that's an just an opinion. As for the name of your new organization, what about "The Onion Layer"? Just reading these posts brought to mind a scene from the movie, Shrek, where the main character says, Onions are like ogres. They have layers. He was trying to convey there's more to a person than the eye can see. Ok, now I'm babbling. Sorry! IP: Logged |

AriesAbundancy, I was thinking the same thing about Shrek!Randall, you are wonderful! Try contacting various organizations who do all or part of what you want to do and pick their brains for all their knowledge and go back to them for support (you'll need it). When you're ready to get everything going, contact me. I'm an accountant and I've set up non-profits from scratch. I can get you through the never-ending maze of paperwork you're going to have to wade through. And best of all, I work for free for non-profits Good luck! IP: Logged |

I wanted to go with the name JobCare, but the national trademark is taken. So, thinking along those lines, what else sounds good?------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |
