As some of you may be aware, my first book of poetry will be published next month. It's a collaborative effort between my high school's art class and mySelf. I wrote all the poetry, and I selected the art for the book based on prints created by the art class. As I am completely unknown (as of now), I will not be going to any major publishers, but will simply have the book photocopied. Some of the poetry in the book will be poetry I have posted here; others will be poetry I have not posted. Sometime in the days leading up to the release of the book, I will post a ten-item questionnaire in this thread. The questionnaire will be based on concepts from Linda Goodman's Star Signs. Most answers will be found somewhere in that book. The first KNOWflake who posts all ten answers correctly will receive a FREE copy of my poetry book, plus two exclusive bonuses: a poem inspired by the individual person's aura, based on their posts and a LEXIGRAM I will do of their name. The poem and Lexigram will only be present in the copy the KNOWflake wins, but he or she can do with them whatever they will. I will ask the winner to e-mail his or her mailing address (and all the letters of their name) to me. Since I chose not to display my e-mail address in my profile, you will have to ask the webmaster for it. In the meantime, enjoy the love of life and bury yourSelf in Star Signs before the month of May; you never kNOW when you'll come across something that could be on the questionnaire!    IP: Logged |

Caileah, LOL! I, too, have "borrowed" Star Signs out, and am now missing it! I use it often for references to numerology, Lexi's, and what ever else I may be thinking about! I am now thinking that I will also be purchasing another copy! It seems that I buy one, lend it out, buy another, lend it out... What comes around, goes around, right? I figure that the copies that I have put out there are doing infinitly more good than if I had just one, sitting on my shelf!Spiritua, congratulations! And thank you for your generousity! I don't know the colour of the person's aura by the posts they make. All I meant by "aura" is the general feeling I get from them. I'm going to rephrase that statement. "I will write a poem based on the Lexigram and the personality they project on the site." I assume that the personality they project on the site will be subtly contained somewhere in the Lexigram.IP: Logged |

Caileah... unfortunately, my book will not be available at Barnes & Noble this time around. I'm not taking the book to a publisher, because of the fact that I'm not known yet. The book will be photocopied, not formally printed.However, there is a chance that my poetry WILL be available on Barnes & Noble one day, because I am a practical dreamer. My goal is to be a University professor. University professors HAVE to publish books to keep their job. This way, I'll have no choice but to publish. THEN I'll look for a major label. I have high hopes for the future because I will not rush, but I will prod when necessary. This book will barely scratch the surface of what comes later. Thanks for all the support! I love you all. Spiritua, I KNOW you will someday find a big publisher who will be LUCKY to be know as your publisher! One of my own favorite reasons for immortality is that I have no time limits!
