Knowflakes,About three weeks back, I noticed that the word "threads" contains "Tears", "Dare", "Sad", and "Hate". Since then, I wanted to suggest that we stop using this name for Lindaland's um, ... threads. However, I did not speak about this because no alternative to this word came to my mind. A few days back I noticed that Mele had use the word "String" in one of her posts. That's a brilliant idea! "Strings" lexies into "Sing", and "Ring" (ring with truth?). Gone are all those sad words! So, dear knowflakes, I suggest we try to make this change ~ whenever we remember to, let us use the word "string" instead of "thread". How do you feel about this? Let us discuss! ------------------ No one's karma owns them; we own karma. IP: Logged |

Wow!! I thought that using "string" seemed to be proper rather than "thread". It was orginally called "string" then somehow people changed it to "thread". I just don't like the word thread so I kept on using string. Thanks, Elohim for seeing through these words.Wheeeeeee!! Strings are in, Threads are out!! Mele IP: Logged |

It's effortless for me ...I was one of online pioneers, people did originally call them "strings" not "threads". It amazes me how these changed. I continued using "strings" out of habit. Keeping up with Joneses wears me out, sometimes and also my being totally deaf, not hearing spoken language ... English/Grammar is hard enough for me as it is without confusing me. It's so cool that Elohim caught on. I never thought of bringing it up. Mele We use strings on guitars and violins to make beautiful music, don't we? Wonder what they'd sound like if threads were used? IP: Logged |

Today I noticed that "Strings" also contains "sin" and "sting" Ah, where is my theasaurus now ... Well, I guess it is not that bad, because "sting" its-elf contains "sing" . And anything that contains "sing" can't be very bad, right? "Threads" contains many more 'negative' words. Besides the ones I listed earlier, I found another one today: "trash". So, knowflakes, what shall we do? ------------------ No one's karma owns them; we own karma. IP: Logged |

Just noticed that STRING adds up to 18...ouch!...while THREAD adds up to 21.Aiyaiyaiieee - now what do we do?! I still like 'string' though. I think we can beat the 18 vibration by Singing the sting out of sin! IP: Logged |

Aqua....l8 isn't so bad, is it? It adds up to nine, which resonates with Mars, which is Linda's planet...I like string too...I'm going to recommend it to Gregory over on the other site... Luv, Rainbow~ ------------------

If we consider the plural form of both words, "Threads" is still a beautiful 24, but "Strings" too is a very nice 21! 21 reduces to 3, the number of Jupiter and Saggitarius. As we know, Saggi.s Love to speak the Truth. This fits in very nicely with the concept of Strings "ringing with truth". Another reason to stick with "Strings", I feel. And I too agree that we definitely can beat the negative potential of 18! And yes, it would be lovely if this could help the other sites too! ------------------ No one's karma owns them; we own karma. IP: Logged |

String's vibrate only when touched like the touching of the keyboard or reach of an idea. So should a HOT topis be called twang eventually leading/adding up to instrumental feeling/force of the site? ------------------ HOPE to LEARN to FOCUS to be PROUDIP: Logged |
