Music...the heartbeat of the soul...

My tastes can go from one extreme to another...
Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra, Barenaked Ladies, Sting, Enya, most classical, Maria Callas, Bon Jovi, kd lang, Elvis, Louis Armstrong, U2, Faith Hill, Jim Brickman, Jann Arden...the list goes on and on...quite ecclectic...

(And dontcha just love Christmas carols???)

I tried a little jazz-can't remember who-some of it was okay, some not.My music has to have melody...more then monotonous percussion and random tootlings on piano and saxophone.Lot's more to go...I'll try to find some Peterson...

Wow you guys sure are conservative listners. I was brought up on stuff like Paul Simon, Jimmy Buffet, The Big Chill and CHFI- Toronto's perfect music mix, todays hits and yesterdays classics. When I was around 13 I started listening to Rock\Alternative and hip hop (but don't get me wrong I would always listen to a song that suits my fancy regardless of the gendere) and for the next 5 years basically listened to rap. then when I was 18 some of my friends brought me to a rave party and after listenig to house all night I decided to get into electronic music like House, Trance, Techno, and for the last 3 years have been listening to those genderes as well as jungle\Drum'n'Bass. I listen to almost every type of music. Except new age pop. Blah. I love bluegrass, Opera, Rock(50's 60's 90's, whatever anything good), classical, positive (not negative) Hip hop, retro, electronica, Break beats (I love breaks) and any other style I happen to enjoy. My favorite musicals are Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Beat Street. I generally like music to be fast paced.

My favorites are classical and jazz and I love listening to radio to enjoy the latest songs (and taking a break from classical). I don't really have a favorite musician. Right now I like to listen to B.B King and Jason Mraz.

I am open to almost any type of music (except metal). QOS, I like your choices. I listen to classical when I'm relaxing or contemplating. My favorite romanticp ieces are Chopin's Nocturne in E, and Tchaicovsky's Swan Lake Theme (Danza Cesne?).

That is really neat that you play the violin, as I've heard its a challenge to master it. When I was younger, I used to play the flute. I really wish I'd kept it up, I miss it.

Love this song.....

Oh ...
State of love and trust as I busted down the pretext
Sin still plays and preaches, but to have an empty court, oh
And the signs are passin`, grip the wheel, can`t read it
Sacrifice receiving the smell that`s on my hands ... hands, yeah
And I listen for the voice inside my head
Nothin`, I`ll do this one myself

Lay her down as priest does, Should the lord be accountin`
Will be in my honour, make it pain, painfully quick, uh huh
Promises are whispered in the age of darkness
Want to be enlightened like I want to be told the end ... end, yeah
And the barrel stays aimed, oh, directly at my head
Oh, help me, help me from myself
And I listen yeah, for the voice inside my head
Nothin`, I`ll do this one myself
Oh oh oh Myself ... myself

Yeah, yeah ...

Hey, na-na-na-na, hey that`s something
Hey, na-na-na-na, hey that`s something
Hey, na-na-na-na, hey that`s something
Wanna back, back it away, yeah
And I listen, yeah, for the voice inside my head
Nothin`, I`ll do this one myself
Oh, ah, and the barrel waits, trigger shakes
Aimed right at my head,i want you to help me
Help me from myself
Eh Oh Eh Oh Ehh (x2)

Hmm ... state of love and trust, and a ...
State of love and trust, and a ...
State of love and trust, and a ...
State of love and ... yeah yeah
