said "It's a very special gift to all of you from Linda...a very personal gift straight from Linda...The clue is that at least one of you already has the gift, but you just didn't realize what I was talking about at the time" hmmm....are you channeling Linda? curiouser and curiouser....

The human mind is not capable of grasping the Universe. We are like a little child entering a huge library. ...It does not understand the languages in which they are written. But the child notes a definite plan in the arrangement of the books....a mysterious order which it does not comphrehend, but only dimly suspects.

Nah, I don't channel Linda (although she has whispered in my ear a couple of times, just as she has many of you). It's almost here...

Some hints:

It's more than one.

It'll make you laugh.

It'll make you cry.

You'll treasure every one.

Linda would be (is?) so happy for every single reader of her books to have this gift from her, and I will make sure that happens.

SLOW POKE

You keep me waitin'
Til it's gettin' agrivatin'
You're a slow poke.....

I wait and worry,
But ya never seem to hurry,
You're a slow poke....

Time..means nothin' to you
I wait...and then....
Late... again,
Eight O'clock, Nine O'clock,
Quarter to ten... (etc)

from an old song in the 50's, written by Pee Wee King.......(for some silly reason it just came to mind.... )

juniperb! You mean you really remember that song???

Gee, that makes me not the only "auntie Q" here..(er...that's actually antique)

But take heart, we more mature ladies are like fine wine...we get better with age...

(time is an illusion, remember?)

Ps....I knew Pee Wee King....my sister and I sang on a couple of his road shows...nice guy...he passed into the spirit world a couple years ago...*sigh*...memories...

He also wrote THE TENNESSEE WALTZ (a big Patti Page hit) and YOU BELONG TO ME (done by Jo Stafford).....but these cute little teenie boppers around here, won't know who I'm talking about .....these guys were actually PRE-ELVIS! (talk about being mature? *sigh*)

Awww juniperb.......if you'e familiar with that song thru ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL(*SIGH*), then you're not the "auntie Q" that I thought you were ....but that's okay....I guess I'm destined to remain the sol "anti Q" here .....*sigh*

...about Randall's surprise?????....I don't have a clue...

Rainbow~

*sigh* yes, I`m an Auntie Q too. Pee Wee King, Eddy Arnold, Jim Reeves, Hank Locklin.Ray Price . I cut my teeth on "hillbilly" music & nowdays I`m gumming it on "country" ... different name, but the same in the important ways.
juniperb
p.s. If ya get a hint to Randalls doozy, holler! p.s.s. Have you heard Ray Prices new release?? Awesome!
