*SIGH*.....I've only just become aware that this was ready....and unfortunately  I don't have time to listen right now, as I have an appointment I must go to very soon....But as soon as I get back, I can't wait to listen....*sigh*....In the meantime....everybody else...ENJOY!  Luv,

Joga....don't feel bad....I can't even get to the site!!!  .......and I'm really disappointed... ...cuz I really, really, wanted to hear this..*sigh*....but nothing is opening up at Conscious Evolution at this time...so guess I'm gonna have to wait.....(this will be an exercise in patience).....Luv,

  I am so happy!!! happy!!! happy!!! I finally got to hear THE LOST LINDA TAPE, and let me tell you, it is totally awesome...*sigh* What a thrill to actually hear Linda reciting lines from her own GOOBERZ.... This is a MUST HEAR for every adoring Linda fan..*sigh*... ...and thank you so much, Gregory and Bearing Small Gifts, for sharing this wonderful new found treasure with us.... Luv,

I had a bit of trouble loading up the board on Netscape so I switched to Explorer and then it was fine. Also, the link to listen to the tape is in a post of a very long string, so it takes awhile for it all to load in. If anyone is on a 56k connection, I would guess it would be difficult to load because on a cable connection it even took some time.  Also, thank you to everyone involved for sharing this! I am so happy to hear this. Linda has a great voice and great sense of drama!  Interestingly, I recall another time I heard her voice. I think it was at a site a long time ago where you could hear excerpts of Linda talking about your Sun sign a bit. Does anyone remember this or am I going crazy??
Well, hope everyone is able to hear this... it is quite the gift!!

Pearly.......the site now called CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION, used to be the "original" Linda Goodman site, with webmaster Gregory....and at one time you could hear Linda's voice talking about different Sun Signs........perhaps that's where you heard it...(and no! You're Not going crazy)...  For the other Know Flakes here, you may or may not know, the CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION SITE, still devotes a good part to Linda...and that is where you can hear the "lost tape."..... At present, they are experiencing server problems (which I have every confidence, Gregory will have ship-shape in no time) and it might be difficult to access the site at this time....but just keep trying..... Once you get to the post, on that particular thread (or string), which gives you the URL to hear Linda, it will be well worth it! *sigh*.. As for myself, I loaded it on my Media Player in hardly any time at all, and found it so clear and beautiful...goose bumps, surfaced...*sigh*.. juniperb..............as Pearly said, if you access the site, you'll wind up on a thread/string discussing the tape, how it came into being, and then how to make it available for all the Know Flakes to hear, etc...but with a little patience, eventually, you should come to a post, where Gregory gives you the place to click on...and viola! There it is!!! Bearing Small Gifts, heard about the recent Linda auction, managed to purchase Linda's personal desk (which was a marvel, in itself), and then found the cassette tape, which she thought was blank, but upon playing it, discovered to her amazement, it was Linda, reciting parts of GOOBERZ....  Is that what they call serendipity???? Or maybe "miracles?"... Anyway....keep trying.... Luv,

I'm not being mean, knowflakes....really...Purplel is really Ace Yellow in disguise, and has caused a lot of mischief  on both Linda sites...I know, cuz I happened to be one, for whom he caused problems...*sigh*... The recording ends with the exact same quote from Gooberz that Linda "told" me she wanted on the front page of this site! Hearing that quote in Linda's own voice was an overwhelming experience! ------------------

Hello, beautiful people. When I drove down beautiful Phantom Canyon to Florence, where the warehouse is, to get the desk, both Rainbow and Randall were along for the ride, in my own mind. Their excitement about the sale, and about whether any Knowflakes from our circle of sites had gotten there, moved me to call the auction house that Sunday (the day after the sale). And when I found out that the one thing I knew I wanted -- the work desk -- was still available, I drove down there with Rainbow and Randall in mind. Along the way, they shape-shifted or morphed  into living symbols for all the loving Knowflakes. So it became important to me that there would be something there to share with all.
And I am immensely pleased that there was/is! That sure felt like magic. Many thanks to steadfast Gregory for hosting my "broadcasts" as well. Sweetpeas -- loved your reaction! Queen of Sheba -- the music is old classic songs and classical pieces. My dad plays some of those on piano, so I'll try to remember to ask him for names of some of the pieces next time we talk. Oh, everyone, I re-recorded Parts 1 and 2 so they sound better, and you can download and save the new versions right over the old.
