I saw your post in the Birthday Thread...Yes, I have problems with my ankles-more superficial than anything else though. I have a good friend who is also Feb. 11 (I like to tease her that I'm a day older).I get along with Aquarians...and I have female Taurus friends (oddly), and Libras, and Scorpios, Leos, Geminis, Aries, and basically everyone. I'm not very good with Virgos, Capricorns, Cancers, and Taurus males. IP: Logged |

btw, I have met so many people with my birthday it's just uncanny! When I was in high school, my teacher and two other kids had the same b-day: Feb.11. The even funnier thing was this was one of those classes for us kids who keep cutting school to go smoke pot, so I said, hey, we must all be weird, well, in a good way ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! That is what I was thinking too!! OMG I completely forgot about this thread! But yea, great minds think alike b/c I was thinking the same thing too!I was talking to someone else at work and they told me EVERYONE gets stuff quarantined and EVERYONE emails. She doesn't think that the MIS dept. brought this to her attention, they think SHE requested the list and just made that up. I don't know what to think except that this woman is very vindictive and selfish. She is a gemini and hard to handle! Her review IS coming up and I don't know if she wants to maybe show she is doing a good job at being a supervisor (since last year the president, our boss told her she needed to do a better job with me teaching me stuff) I don't know, I have been working there for 3 and a half years, very hard, and she has always been a controlling BBEEEOOOOOTTCCHHH! It's all good though. I am going to take your advice and also the advice of my friends. And thanks for listening to me about my stupid problems which I created in the first place. d ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |

You have to know you didn;t create any problems. It's inhumane for a corporation to insist that people have no contact with the outside world during the 8 ridiculous hours they spend there. Nevermind people can't get a lot of real life errands done before 8 am and after 6 pm. LOLDo you think she's trying to get you fired? I hope not. Just talk to her, be professional, and lay low (at least until Mercury Retro is over! When is that, btw?). IP: Logged |

Yes- that's it I will just be professional. I don't think she wants to get me fired..but we have come across a few awkward things. See when I first started she told me she was training me so she could leave in the next year. And each year she pushed it back. I didn't mind I was happy to be her assistant. But you know, if she makes mistakes or it comes to people's attention that I did alot of good work or contributed to something big, then she won't let me work on that task..So she has never trained me and always boasts how no one can do her job because nobody knows the details. And now she says she wants to work there forever. Which is cool. But the rudeness and her control issues are bizarre. I don't know. She instant messages all day, she does another corporations work (and has me do work for them too), she makes countless mistakes and errors and, I mean everyone makes errors, but she does constantly, and when these get brought up she is the type of person to get huffy and then say something mean to someone else. OOops- I am rambling- SORRY! Thanks for listening and helping. Yes I will lay low. Who knows she could just genuinly dislike how much I use the email. She is so controlling- she doesn't like anyone to come say hi to me, she doesn't like me to have phone conversations, she doesn't like me to eat lunch in the lunchroom. So maybe she wants to control my email too. btw Oxy I think your the sweetest, most caring person thanks for being my friend!!! ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |

That's not a supervisor, it's a petty kid in her teenage years! Geez! If yourjob is in jepoardy, can you speak to Human Resources or her supervisor? Or go work for the company she does work for? LOL I'm sorry to bug you. I just don;t like seeing my friends in bad situations is all. ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson IP: Logged |

Well thank you for your care! If my job IS in jeopardy it's not the biggest deal in the world. They pay me peanuts and the only huge thing is that they reimburse me for college. But I have no doubt I could transfer or get another job, our parent company is a pretty big bank down here and I am sure I could find a position with 3 1/2 years experience. My mom tells me not to worry! THANKS! Oxy- what's for dinner?

Oh man, I totally (like..fer sure) didn't even notice your post Fajita, and yours, N_wEvil. I have no idea what the equivalent of 5 pounds are in u.s. dollars, but sometimes a good bottle of cheap wine can really do the trick (Blue Nun...don't knock it). And Fajita...thanks for saying I rock. I'm glad you decided to read the poem. Only good things can come from that! Don't forget to save it for your aquarian memoirs. Ok...gonna brew some coffee now. Too bad about the marine guy...maybe you'll meet someone else on the way back! I have to find hotels for Miami for April. IP: Logged |
