This being the anniversary of Linda's passing (thanks again for the reminder, Randall), I was just thinking of different ways Linda had touched my life. Significant moments - my friend giving me the copy of "Star Signs" for my birthday and what she wrote in the front cover. The way I felt reading it for the first time -- feeling like my brain was just BlOOming with the truth of it all. And, my reaction when Linda passed....I heard the news and took a tantrum like a 5 year old. No No No. They have the wrong Linda. A different Linda Goodman died and they got them mixed up. That's it. No? She didn't. She couldn't. She's not done teaching me, yet. There's other books to be written. She needs to clarify some things, here. How could she do this? She wasn't ready to go - I'm not ready to let her go. NO no no no. They've got it wrong. She was immortal. Immortal - do you hear me? Immortals don't DIE. They can't die. (Dead silence except for brain audibly spinning and clicking) oh. Unless they want to. (even then, Linda kept right on teaching, amazing, huh?) Then I cried. How about you? How did you react? It doesn't have to have been back in '95. I don't care when you found out. It could have been today. What did you think and do? (and, were any of you as irrational as I was? ) IP: Logged |

Shamorock I only started reading her books after her death. I was surely upset but to be honest I kind of expected that she was no longer with us, well I didn't but I accepted it right away. The reason being nearly all the great legends are dead, and they all died b4 I was born it seems ( well not all of them) John Lennon was dead, Bonzo, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Marilyn Monroe, Abe, Jesus! I tell ya when u get to my age ( the age of the year I was born) it's no longer good for your health to mourne the deaths of those who die for we'd never stop. Would have loved to have met her though. And she immortalised through her books at least anyway. Love ya Linda!IP: Logged |

I didn't find out until I came here.I saw that she was talked about in the past tense on the welcome page, I figured it out, and I went into shock. Even if I don't agree with some of what she said, I was attached to her. She changed my life.

Sadly Shamrock, I found out thru this site too. I had been checking Hampton Roads website and had even written them for a release date for Twelft Night Secrets. After a couple of years (I had even sent H.R. a sase for a reply) of no response I looked Linda up on the web and found LindaLand & e`d Randall. I was floored, absolutely floored, stunned, felt betrayed ; there`s not an adjective strong enough to apply I guess. Anyhow, after I digested the news less selfishly, I realized Linda had a special reason and it had to have been a damn good one for her to return to her OOber galaxy. & just think... she has all the answers to the questions we`re all pondering right now juniperb IP: Logged |

Linda's passing was a great loss. And a great shock when I first learned of it. I think that many of us took her for granted, and never in our wildest dreams imagined that she would ever die. Evidently she felt her mission here was fulfilled. I am just grateful that she left so much behind for us. Peace and Love, Freedom IP: Logged |

A good one to bump.------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today.
