Hi, I'm May and after a bit of prodding by Amber and Kian, and a good bit of lurking I've decided to come out of the shadows as I really like this board I'll confess that I've actually come out of lurking cause im hoping that someone can tell me what the heck a dream of mine meant.. but also it would mean a lot to amber for me to join in and well I can't say no to her LOL So ummm hi finally ~May ------------------ Did I need to sell my soul for pleasure like this Did I have to lose control to treasure your kiss Did I need to place my heart in the palm of your hand Before I could even start to understand Its only when I lose myself in someone else that I find myself IP: Logged |

yes, it hit 102 on Wednesday, blech...it's almost December what the hell gives!? oh, maybe because I live with a Leo way up in these thar Hills, it made it a little hotter than the rest of the area lol so you are from northern CA, Amber? or like Oregon or Washington or something? I really want to drive up there. When I lived in Boston, I drove to Montreal a couple times a year, it was no big deal, like 7-8 hours. Have lunch in Burlington, VT, chill in the shops, chat with the college girls, then roll into downtown Montreal in another couple hours. Now, to think of driving to Canada, jesus, it's like half a day to Tahoe alone... Oh now young May, you positively gots to jet to Cripple Creek, you are so within striking distance. it's not all drunken and loud gamblers from what I saw. mostly they bus them in and they are pretty much elderly peeps. although I guess they can get drunken and loud lol It is the cutest, quaintest little mountain town, just adorable, and the air is so clean, it's just lovely. I drove by myself last September and spent half a day checking it all out, you can totally walk the whole town, and there are some cool shops, I got this funky scorpion lock at an antique shop, it's like 50 years old and brass and like six inches long and scary! the tail is the lock part. and I got a book by one of my fave Pagan authors, Chas Clifton, who I didn't know wrote a book on the Ghosts of Cripple Creek, it's a little booklet. oh and a t-shirt with some wolves on it, and a mess of postcards. There is so much neat stuff, a cool wax museum, all sorts of things to do, you'd prolly love it. I think you are what like half an hour away? take a spin up there sometime, you'll dig it anyways, glad that you're here and hopefully you'll stick around just beware, it's a pretty sticky site, some days you can't tear yourself away. it's nice to have friends here too to keep you out of trouble too lol Bright Blessings, Carlo IP: Logged |

Carlo ~ I've been in Los Angeles for 3 years but before that I was in New York City for 13 years. I actually still have an apartment in NYC. I'm used to cold winters!! *and really hot summers* I do have to say that summers in LA are a lot nicer than in NYC.I went to San Fran once back in 1992 or so and it was chilly! IP: Logged |

San Francisco is always cold.I love LA weather, and it's always chilly in time for my birthday which I love so... but remember I grew up here and Christmas day was always spent wearing shorts. la la la ------------------ The scent of love is a strange mixture of springtime flowers and spilled wine on sweaty skin. I used to ski in shorts in New England. it is so temperate in LA, I love it. I just had an audition this morning down on Melrose, what a fun street that is. I want to own a shop there. okay, I'd rather have a vineyard north from here You know, last Summer the cute town of Harmony, CA off the PCH was for sale for like $16,000! The population is like 18 I have a membership with Harmony Cellars, they ship me a nice assortment of wine every few months. And the secret hot springs in Gaviota are just to die for, omg. I really like this area yeah, I hear San Fran is chilly because it's near the water. Joey Lauren Adams for the second time today, came right into my local gas station where I was chatting with the guys. She bought Marlboro Mediums I think the last I saw her on film was Big Daddy. She drives a white Ford Exploder. It's fun to live here, yet not a forever thing BB, Carlo IP: Logged |

you know, Carlo, I've seen so many more celebrities and musicians in NYC than I've seen here in LA but that might be because I went out a lot more in NYC before I had a child I would love a wine membership. I'm growing an affinity for it. IP: Logged |

We met the owners last time we were there in August for my b-day. they may even be online...it's all fabulous wine, dahling, mmmm IP: Logged |
