I would like to know what you guys think of the apparitions of Virgin Mary, esp. the Fatima one and the one currently going on in Medjugorie?Do you believe they're real? If they're real, are the "messages" real? I mean, could it be that the apparitions did happen, but the "messages" had been filtered and edited by the church? Any insights??? Raindrops IP: Logged |

Yes I KNOW they are real..I have to go to bed now to wake up soon for work but I will be back to tell you more, I know alot about this so please, just wait  love fajita ------------------

Oh no I feel so bad because I went to work but I am back My grandma went to Lourdes in France where the children saw the Virgin Mary, they truly are seeing her, Mary tells them messages and they are in a trance. In many parts around the world she appears to people giving hope and love and the water from those places is amazingly healing.
My grandma also prays for roses when she says a novena, or a group of prayers. She askes Mary or the Lord to send down a rose to whoever she is praying for. She has sent me many roses that came on her doorstep after she would finish the group of prayers. I said a novena for a troubled, suicidal friend of mine (she had no idea of my prayers), at the end of the group of prayers, one day, her mother took me and her to the beach and as we get into the car, there is a rose on the windshield, no one that we knew put it there, and I knew it was from my prayers. Mary comes to many and she is kind and loving and only wants peace and love. What people distort the Christian and Catholic religion into one of condemnation they are ruining it, because Mary comes and it is like white healing light, she or her Son could never hate. Her love is so awesome, so pure so amazing, so non-judgemental, I wish to go to one of these places myself. Her inner beauty is what makes these children who see her in such a trance. it is so beautiful and puts everyone in awe. Even those who can't see it can sense the wonderful peace and tranquility in those moments.
I can tell you more about where she visits and why if you like. And if any of you really like I can try to get more holy water from these places. Thank goodness Mary goes often to places so troubled like Colombia too. ------------------

How inspirational Fajita  Wasn`t there 3 prophetic apparitions of Virgin Mary at Fatima
and two were shared with the public and the 3rd withheld by the church?

Here in Greece there are several icon's of Virgin Mary with healing power. The most well-known is found at the island of Tinos. A nun had a dream in 1821 (the year of the Greek uprising for independence)where virgin Mary told her where to find the icon, and when the nun started digging, she found it. This icon is said to have healed many people who believes in it and prays in front of it. Every year, on the Assumption of Virgin Mary the 15th of August, thousands and thousands of pilgrims visit Tinos and the church to pray in front of the icon. I've heard several stories of infertil women who've become pregnant after praying in front of this icon. (Actually, here in Greece many couples who try for a child and have problems will pray to either Virgin Mary or Saint Rafael. There are reports of over 1000 miracles connected to the monastery of Saint Raphael on the island of Lesbos, that are visited by thousands of pilgrims every year).
There's also another icon, which is normally in a monastery, but that currently is exhibited in one church in Athens. People are standing in line for hours to get in to see it and pray in front of it. Only yesterday, television showed a young girl, mentally retarded, who's mother claims to have been healed by the icon - before the girl was only lying in bed, crawled up, now she can walk and talk. Lots of people say they have been healed of their pains.
On the island of Kephallonia, in a small village church, every year on the 15th of August small snakes with a cross on their head appaears and crawls into the church and up on the icon of Virgin Mary. Biologists have studied the phenomena and can't explain it. The only year they haven't showed is the year during the war when German soldiers massacred thousand of Italian soldiers, their former allies.

Yes she appears all around the world and brings messages of hope and love, and anomolies tend to happen. From reports of blood being shed from The Virgin Mary's statues in Colombia, to messages she tells to those all around the world.
I have to step out now but I will be back, and stella that is all amazing thanks for sharing all that with us!
p.s. Juniperb I think the church tries to hide certain things because they do not want her secrets to get into the wrong hands. I am not saying I agree with them, just why it might be.
