Hey Danita -

I never know what to say when someone dies, so I'm not going to try to be, well, tactful, because...well, I'm not.
So, I guess I'll just say what's on my mind:
for all the pain this has caused you and your family. Passings are so painful - your Grandmother, so prominent in your life, is gone from here. I'm so sorry.
It sounds trite to say that she's in peace now, but she is. She is in the greatest Love and Peace imaginable - and she is with you, probably even more than she could have been in life. One just has to have eyes to see. Honor her energy, I bet she'll appreciate it.
Be emotional now; if those tear-making chemicals are in you, your body knows what it's doing when it sends them out - cry, weep, and help yourself and your loved ones come out on the other side of this grief.
But you already know all this, I'm sure.

(D'oh - ignore the smiley face on the header.)

Hey! It's me! I know it says Fajita2 but I am out of town and don't have the password memorized (absentminded I know!) so I figured I would just start a new account.

Thanks so much Proxieme and Jakie and Jwhop I really appreciate your words. Yes I have been crying so much, and thanks N_wEvil I am going to read the poem at the funeral!

I really feel so much support from you all and that means so much, really, I am touched and so grateful.

And I am glad she is in peace and as the Grateful Dead say..

"We will..get by.. We will..get by.."
OK it sounds better than it looks.

Thanks hugs! d

Thanks so much for your love guys!

I suppose it's hard because as stupid as this sounds, I just grew up and my grandma was always there, she lived till she was 91, and I guess I just was shocked and pained by her death, it just seemed so final you know. But thanks for listening and your support it really helps.

I don't kow if it's "luck" per say...could be misfortune? lol

And I'm not a mushy person either! Little happy faces with hearts don't come easily to me!

hehe

Anyway, I hope you're ok. Good for you for reading your poem! I'm sure it was beautiful.
