Thank you all a month late. Been busy lately and haven't been around. My sister was sent to Kuwait at the end of January, she's with the 3rd infantry so you can imagine what I've been doing for the past 11 days. So far so good, though. I heard from her on Friday and she is well so far. She was crying on the phone about the children. She said that she has never seen a more sad thing in her life, children starving and in rags. I know my Pisces sister and although she'd never admit to it, I have a sneaking feeling that quite a bit of the candy and toys and other junk food I've sent her has gone to these children. I've missed you all and thought of you often, but in my worry for her since she was sent over I haven't had the head or the heart to be on the internet. But, just being here these few minutes has made me feel calmer than I have in months -- I will definately try to stop by more often. I had forgotten about the great aura this site gives off IP: Logged |
