N_W Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but in the long movie "Jesus of Nazareth" (from sometime in the 70's, I think) it shows the Three Wise Men doing Astrological calculations re what is pointing to the birth of Jesus. It's on video and can be rented anywhere if you care to take a look at it. There are probably other examples, but this was the first one that came to mind. Hope that helps. IP: Logged |

Thanks Twin Lady - i'll look that up.If i may clarify myself though, more what i'm looking for is instances of fully fictional films/universes that explicitly used astrology as a tool to make them more beleivable. It's a good start though IP: Logged |

Aquarians? Don't you mean Scorpios? That Danny de Vito thing reminded me of something: Martin Scorsese is a Scorp, a fixed sign, right, and I noticed that he mostly uses "fixed signs" actors: (in most of his films) Robert De Niro - Leo Harvey Keitel - Taurus Daniel Day Lewis - Taurus Joe Pesci - Aquarius Nick Nolte (Cape Fear) - Aquarius Paul Newman (Colour of Money) - Aquarius Leonardo di Caprio - Scorpio exceptions are: Ray Liotta - Sagittarius (Goodfellas), Willem Defoe - Cancer (Last Temptation of Christ), Tom Cruise - Cancer (Colour of Money). Age of Innocence, his I think only sensual film, was made by a sensual "fixed" quadruple: Scorsese (Scorp), Daniel Day Lewis (Taurus), Winona Ryder (Scorp), Michelle Pfeiffer (Taurus). Do you think he's aware of all this? You never know with a Scorpio, right IP: Logged |

We are good detectives! We leave no stone unturned in search of the truth. Then we shall proceed to advise you of what we learned whether you want to know it or not LOL ------------------ food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |

Yah, Aquarians I agree. Then they're like, "You mean that's it?" And boredom sets in 1/2 a second IP: Logged |

Hey I just saw The Eye of the Beholder with Ewan McGregor. I think the screenplay was written with some knowledge of astrology because the characters fit the (basic and less basic) descriptions of their astrological signs.First, the main characther, the girl, is a Pisces, saying so herself, describing her Piscean traits at the beginning of the movie and saying she's totally into astrology. OK, nothing unusual so far. In the movie, she indeed embodies the negative aspects of Pisces: escapism (running away from reality), elusiveness etc., but she's a killer. Then the guy who is obssessed with her (a persistent Taurus in the movie, following her for years and years) meets her "mentor", and now we see why the girl has become a killer - she had come under the influence, or shall we say, the spell, of this strong woman. Everything clicks in the story when this woman says: "Kill of be killed." And the camera glides down to her necklace with a Scorpio pendant. For me this is the proof that the screenwriter had some (even though rather basic) knowledge about astrology. All this sounds pretty boring as I'm writing it now, but it looks much better in the movie. So, we have a Pisces girl on the run, refusing to face the real world and therefore turning into a killer as a consequence of succumbing to the influence of this strong Scorpio woman (these two women are somehow magically connected to each other, there is some kind of a strong aethereal link between them, just like there often is between a Scorpio and a Pisces), and we have a persistent, simple Taurus young man, obssessed with the beauty (Taurus is ruled by Venus) and mysticism of this Pisces girl, trying to protect her and becoming her guardian angel. Maybe you'll find this helpful, N_wEvil
