Thanks, Danita! I'm weighing my options. I also like the PDF idea. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Randall,I have access to Adobe Acrobat, the software that converts word files to PDF ... I would be happy to put Star Notes into PDF format if you don't have the software or access to it. It would take all of about 60 seconds if you already have it in Microsoft Word format. Anything I can do to help ... let me know. Heidi IP: Logged |

I only have the hard copies. Does it need to be scanned? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Randall,You could scan it ... it would probably be better to use OCR (optical character recognition) software if you have it at your disposal. How many pages is it? Is it too large to retype it into a word doc? If you scan it the file maybe too large ... depending on what format it's saved in. Is it really too large for you to retype? Heidi

Don't have OCR. I haven't counted the total pages yet, but it's LOTS! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Hey Randall!I could swear I posted this, but I guess I didn't... check out PayPal www.paypal.com they are a free service (I'm pretty sure they are a bank). All the two people need to send the money between them is email addresses. Like, I sign up and give them my credit card or bank info and you sign up and give them the same thing. then my email address sends your email address the money. Our personal banking info never changes hands and then they credit the money directly to your credit card or checking account. I think they'd even do the conversion for our non U.S. KnOwflakes. OK. I realize that I'm not explaining it very well. But, don't let that put you off I've been using them to pay for auctions and things on the net for several years and have never had a problem with them. They debit my checking account directly and send payment right to whomever I'm buying from. It might at least take the "money through the mail" problem off your head IP: Logged |

The only thing about PayPal, is that the person who is considered to be the seller (in this case Randall) will be charged a percentage of what he sells. It's free for the buyer, but I think the seller pays something like 15-20% of the sale for the privilege of using PayPal. Still, personally, I would be happy to cover that cost for you. You could just tack it onto the total you need.Yeah..I'm eager! IP: Logged |

I have a business account with Pay Pal, so I would have to report it as income and pay taxes on it.
