time for something new!

my students (yep, i teach. ) and i all have fun with it. we usually have it as a writing exercise.

ok, the aim is to contradict the news. if it's bad news, then next person should step in with good news. one-liners usually suffice.

example:
A: good news! we're all going on holiday!
B: the bad news is it's in iraq.
C: well..good thing...

got the idea?
take the floor, anyone.

I have my 12 year old sister staying with me for the weekend she lives a couple of hours away and I miss her terribly

Bad news is that a huge Snautzer dog with shabby hair lives around THAT corner, he is well known for biting in the behind!
