I'm worried that I'll seem like I think I am all important by boring you guys but I would like to share! As some of you may know, I finally went ahead and made a very positive change in my life: I moved out and broke up with someone I had lived with for 3 years!It took courage, support and a backbone I didn't know I had. I am staying with my parents for now while I save a little more, still working at the office (will be 4 years in June!) and going to night school part time. I am really enjoying the single life, being a moderator, running, yoga, and um, partying the way college kids are supposed LOL oh yea and guys I am learning how to drive! (yes I know I am a little late) ok who's next?? ------------------

Hey fellow Knowflakes!
I am counting the days til Spring Break...when I get to visit some "friends"  in Missouri..among them, my special Gemini guy.
I also am going to a dance, called Sadie Hawkins, with a good friend of mine (also a Gemini sun sign, but other 4 personal planets in Cancer...yikes!). I am hoping he does not read too much into this gesture as we always be friends, but nothing more. I have so attraction on any level with him, but we get along ok, and have passably interesting conversations. He's a sweet person, but I need a stronger man around.
Anyways, we are moving to our new house in June, and I will be attending a nearby college.
Then in July, I am going to a fine arts summer program and "majoring" in Theatre, which is the reason I'll be sadly unavailable for the LL conference...maybe next year?OK, so I've spilled my current plans, anyone else?

wEvil is still currently contemplating wasting another £7k at university for his third year when he could be doing...uhh..something else instead.Currently gearing up for a training seminar and working on a 2-minute long animation that hopefully wont be as bad as i think it will, heehee. Hi Aphrodite Great idea! I haven't talked to you in awhile, but I have been in N. CA alot lately... come to think of it, we should definitely try to meet sometime... I'll send you an email when I get a chance. Also, GG Park is excellent for rollerblading! Also, the Marina...As far as me, I have been working between Los Angeles and San Francisco, still doing sound for music and film projects. Also been fixing up a house to sell (hoping the market stays good) and going crazy with other ambitions. Fajita: I am so happy for you about your moving out! I have certain issues that I am similarly trying to deal with in that dept. and it can be challenging. Congratulations on loving yourself enough, that is inspiring! Oxychick, VAA and N_w, great news! Hey N_w, what kind of animation project are you working on?

Wow I love this idea!!I don't have any 'news' except: I am so much in love!!!!!!! Can I even begin to describe the love I have for my darling? I woke up to breakfast in bed, the newspaper in bed and my favorite singer softly playing (Jack Johnson). Then he bought my two kittys in to say goodmorning and have a little pat time... Life is good

Yes Fajita! What you did IS a strong, confident, POSITIVE move...all because you are a strong, confident, positive woman!  NewEvil-you should follow your instincts. What does your gut tell you to do? Aphrodite-go for it! Dust off those rollerblades off and go for a ride! VAA-I always thought Sadie Hawkins Day was Feb. 29. Ah well, women should feel just as free to ask men out. Pearly-keeping crazy is always good. RRR-breakfast in bed and the whole royal treatment sounds absolutely...heavenly...

Oh and thank you everyone! Yes, I am going to take it, provided I get the written offer on Monday. The salary is signifigantly higher and the people seem nice and there's room to grow...provided I don;t get laid off...I dunno..I felt good today. Took a brisk walk across town this morning, got the offer, got a wonderful surprise from one of my best buddies. I can;t remember ever really feeling too much like this. IP: Logged |

VAA, college!.. should be fun. aph, you can always wish it'll rain flowers. pearly, working between san francisco and LA sounds like a dream..you're not a sag are you? methinks taj will keep attending lecture-seminars on just about every interesting subject 'til the end of her days and plans to take graduate studies in education this year. she's going in a 2 minute animation im working on for uni - there's not a cats' chance in hell of me doing it though! (1.5 months left to finish it all! 2 minutes worth of character animation! ha!)
anyway...i feel like i hijacked the thread...anyone got any other news....please?

NewEvil, you crybaby! I get up at 6Am every day..(except weekends)...I feel pretty darn happy-my boss was so wonderful and supportive! And I have wonderful friends who help me when I start having anxiety attacks. Aphrodite...I love being giddy myself! It's fun, isn't it? heehee But watch out for those Taurean men!
