I didn't really want to make this post in the Global Unity area as I don't want it to turn into a full fledged political debate.I just wanted to say that no matter what anyone's personal views are, we really should "lay it aside". As I'm sure everyone else, as I am, are all here for for one main reason... and that is Linda Goodman and to enlighten our views towards the individuality of others. I would further like to say... that in no way were any of my comments intended to hurt anyone. I am here to learn about how unique each individual is and to enlighten myself. I have found each person on here all to be pleasant and I know that you all are. I hope this even makes an ounce of sense as I'm facing one of those famous insomnia nights. I dont know what your comments were because I dont read any of the stuff in Global Unity at the moment(no offence Fajita and Oxychic)but I am trying to BE PEACE at the moment.Sometimes I get a wierd sort of paranoia and I think everyone thinks I'm being the stereotypical stuffy English person which I dont believe I am,and I think there's a bit of a thing with the time-zone,which means everyone on this site cant be completely in sync with each other,I feel like I suffer from this I dont know about everyone else,surely if all our body clocks are set to different patterns there's bound to be that feeling a bit,not to mention the straightforward fact that when we are typing out our heartfelt and passionate feelings on here for people to read you might have to wait a while for a reply which sort of dampens things a bit.Oh well,just waffling,I'm trying to give up coffee and I've just had my fix and I'm typing away which I shouldnt do because it gives one a tendancy to waffle.
Hello there 1scorp I think you seem like a lovely person and I hope you're going to stay around this site and pick up some knowledge,I've got my own personal agenda of knowledge I'd like to learn about and I feel like I've learnt loads to help me already.

Hi 1scorp Nice to meet you. I've been over in the Global Unity forum and I just wanted to let you know that you never have come across harsh or hurtful. You've always seemed like a great knowflake to me!  Anyway, I agree with you about our common ground here, Linda and enlightenment! Peace to you.
Mazz! How were the oranges?  I just wanted to say that although the time zones can be a challenge, I have enjoyed reading all of your posts. We are never really that far away from eachother, all we have to do is remain quiet for a moment and speak telepathically! You have a great way of looking at things and I love what you say above: "I am trying to BE PEACE at the moment". Very inspiring and wise, thank you for the reminder! See you around!

No offense taken! The hostility and bitterness from some people is apparent there...but it's also obvious when people discuss things intelligently, fairly and respectfully. I think people know what they're saying and those who insult others KNOW they're doing so, and it's obvious to the rest of us. but I don;t think that's the majority of people. I'm very sorry you feel that way. I would like it Mazz, if you felt better about posting there. Some more positive energy might do wonders. pearly, I re-thought that statement and realized it wasn't true. I really meant that I would normally refrain from the political debates, but that's just my nature. It doesn't mean we should have a forum to DISCUSS (not argue about) these things. We should. It's just being abused and like I told Randall and the other moderators, it makes me very sad to see people resort to such petty maneuveurs under the guise of "debating." That's not what debating or discussing is about. It's not about being manipulative or argumentative. It's about being analytical, respectful and rational.We don;t have to let the negativity take over though! Thank you pearly! IP: Logged |

Scorp1... I have always seen you as a pleasant knowflake and I suffer from a bit of insomnia myself... because I think and think about everything constantly... I’m not sure if insomnia is a scorpio trait... I do have a scorp asc... Mazz, I agree with the time zone thing! I know exactly what you mean and don’t think you are waffling I have found the Global Unity forum a little harsh, but also a little hard to stay away from. My love for debate kept me going back for more when I proberly should have stayed away. But the forum isn’t all bad at all... when people take the care to debate in a respectful way it is quite an enlightening place to be. Its interesting to read peoples views on these issues. I must say I had considered taking a break from lindaland because I felt like I had been personally attacked, but I really usually feel so good about this place that I decided against that. I try so hard not to offend anyone, and I would also like to apologise if I had Love and light always
