Hi Randall,As you probably know, I look at a lot of charts from members on this site. Usually on Soul Unions and Astrology forums. (Just a little note to everyone, if you have ever posted your birthdata on this site, there is a good chance I have looked at your chart ) I would like to know if it would be possible to put together a secure database software for members to have the choice to enter in their birthdata via the web and for us (moderators, readers) to use a web-based application to generate charts? This would help out a lot . . . specifically, me heh. Aphrodite IP: Logged |

we could just set up a new profile and password that moderators and whoever else can access...IP: Logged |

Amy Re...... "Just a little note to everyone, if you have ever posted your birthdata on this site, there is a good chance I have looked at your chart"That made me think "Big brother is watching you" How much Scorp have you got in your chart? Just curious and teasing you. Sue

Anything's possible, but from where I stand it does appear that this would be too cost-prohibitive. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Too bad... I've had experience creating those kinds of apps before, and yeah... the one major factor is cost... although it is a good idea.Just to add my data to the (growing) list of birth data looked upon, here it is: September 13, 1983 10:50 pm Quezon City, Philippines And I'm doing it for absolutely no reason at all. We could create an account with astro.com and distribute the password so people could access it??I know I've got a list of about 20 people on mine We could have a Lindaland account there ! IP: Logged |

thanks for the feedback randall i agree n_wevil, public access does not guarantee security and preservation of the original data entry. astro.com allows a max of 100 entries. i had already maxed out my account weeks ago. high quality astro software is out of my budget right now ($400+), and even then data entry takes up time. anyway. it's a seed of an idea worth considering for our community if anyone here is a software developer motivated to design this type of application. this is a free site, although i do not know if it is registered as a non-profit organization b/c the work, as a possibility, can be tax deductible. cheers, aphrodite IP: Logged |

Wow Aphrodite, that sounds like the best idea ever. I'm sure many people on this site feel the same way. What a nice gesture for us to have an opportunity to look at out birth data and see what direction certain elements of our lives are going. I love it.
