(**smiles reminiscently**)I've been studying astro on and off since the early 70's (when we did the chart calcs by hand with Raphael's Ephemeris and the Tables of Houses!! )..... In November 2004 I had a Saggie friend I was interested in, and I was googling one night for info on our Sun square Mars in synastry..... google took me to a topic here, and I started reading..... and reading..... and reading..... It took about two months before I got up the courage to finally post anything -- everyone seemed so knowledgeable that I didn't want to disturb anyone with my silly questions!! Zala IP: Logged |

Venusian Love invited me over. She was dating a Capricorn at the time, and I was interested in a Gemini at the time. She saw my posts at DPX (I think).IP: Logged |

I had Sun Signs as a teen. Then I got Love Signs. I must have read Sun Signs a million times. I had no clue how to read a chart. When I heard about Xena, I remembered that she said we'd eventually find the other 2 planets, so I googled her name which led me here. I'm so glad to be reunited with astology, now I am in the beginning stages of learning how to understand some of the things I've always been interested in. ------------------ "When the student is ready the teacher will appear" IP: Logged |

I was coming out of my writing stage (I tend to cycle my interests, probably has something to do with all of the Libra in my chart) and was heading back to my astrology phase so I jumped on google and put in Linda Goodman and found this site-which is very cool, by the way.------------------ Sun Virgo, moon Pisces, Libra rising, mercury venus 12th house all conjunct, Mars Leo. when i was class 6th id read sunsigns, and like a lot of others, read only my sign... later in 11th...i read it cover to cover...many times...and loved the poetry of the way it was written. read love signs around that time. a few weeks before my 12th exams, i was browsing a local book store and star signs fell open on the page on which it talked about number five and mercury. i knew then that i had to buy the book...but deided to come back and buy it after my exams were over. i loved star signs...i was fascinated by it. later tht year( 2001), i discovered this site and hung around for some months. came back much later again in dec 2004....and have been hanging around since then.IP: Logged |

I too, was finished reading Gooberz and was desperately seeking "12th night Secrets" (had my local used book store put out a search - obviously to no avail -) then when I got brave enough to google (neophyte web person)found out much to my tearful dismay that she had passed (still not so sure in what form!!) and we are still waiting for the promised wisdom within..... *sigh* guess we're not ready.....well after reading and being timid about posting on any website this place drew me in and so glad I got here you all have helped me all sooo much..... I came across Love Signs around....1980...I think, and devoured it in 4 days. After that, I read every single book except Gooberz. I loaned it out and never got it back. I surprised myself by crying when I found out she had passed away. It was about 5 or six yrs later that I got a computer and tried to look up info on her and to see if there were any of her books I had missed when I found this lovely land. Sorry, but that's as interesting as it gets. lolSpry IP: Logged |

Well I never heard of Linda Goodman before...not until I found this site. I found LL through a search engine when I was looking for descriptions of the planets in different signs. IP: Logged |

I read Love Signs in middle school/high school, from the library. I used to go to the "new age" section all the time. I finally bought Star Signs and loved it. Recently purging my home of clutter ran across Star Signs and couldn't bring myself to pass it on, read it again and googled Linda Goodman and here I am! Lurked for a few months then joined. I love it!IP: Logged |

Once i read the book by Margaret Mitchel "Gone with the Wind", at the time of Russia perestroyka it was very actual, besides it was a time of my hard relations with a Scorpio men; unbelievable but i could even predict the Scarlet behavior, this book helped me so much/In a year i read in the Russia magazine the translation of some chapters from Linda's "Sun Signs", she also mentioned Scarlet in the chapter about Aries, it striked me,what a true astrologer! I'll not describe how it was difficult to find her books, and when you find it the translation is different in each book. The original of her books i started to find in Internet. So i found you.I want to say once again: Thank you America for your genius people, you made me love you,no matter what our politics do or sayIP: Logged |

Hello all!I found love signs at the library. I would go just to raid the new age section. I took love signs home and BAM! became a fan. I bought it about a year later and still refer to it when needed. the only other book of Lindas that I have read is sun signs. However It was love signs that prompted me to look for a website or more insight from her on the internet. My search led me here. I've checked out the board for about a day, then decided I had to join. I saw much knowledge here and had to stay and learn. it's been great! IP: Logged |
