and trumpet- loud, always in the front of everything, gets what it wants...

goes with cello- angry and ominous in the lower range, but warm and beautiful too...

and piano- because the piano can be anything it wants to be....

goes with oboe- nostalgic, crabby and whiny at times, but very beautiful when it's in the mood...

and French horn- golden and heroic...

goes with clarinet- a perfectionist, disciplined sound, also very lovely....

hmm hard one, maybe flute?

and violin- violins are always in the center of things, they're very 'social', always having fun...

goes with basson- in the background but a hard worker; gets the job done.

and harp- because the harp is easily distracted?

and viola- violas are not oftn in the limelight, but still beautiful and emotional. They have a rather anguished sound.

So what do you think?

Actually, I wanted to play the violin when I was young, but they told me the strings were made of catgut. That really enraged me (I was all of 10 years) so I refused to have any part of it. LOL

I love listening to the cello. It is haunting, romantic and passionate. I kind of think that would be more Sag than a violin, not to mention most of us are taller than average with longer fingers, a Tuarus would have problems managing that instrument, I would think. Maybe I am wrong.

Now that Aquarius is synths, I think Libra should take over the harp. And Sag can have the flute too if it wants.
But if Sag got the cello, what would Taurus be?

Taurus might play the marimba... such a sensual sound... or a bass clarinet, or baritone sax.

This Aries has played the accordion (!), French horn, and electric bass... and almost took up the bagpipes!!! But I'm with the Wych, a mic is excellent too!

LOL, I know that Yo Yo is a cello dude. LOL... I was wondering what sign he was. My question came out wrong, I should have said "What sign is Yo Yo".

Okay, I think that us Sag's should have the Cello and Taurus can have.......the voice...as an instrument. Taurus rules the throat and most Taurus people have beautiful voices..so that would make sense to me...in my saggie world.

I'm gonna write a viola concerto when I get home, and it'll have 100 horns and 20 cuzoos, 40 clarinets and 300 saxophones! I play the guitar, keyboard (synth) and used to play the violin a little, i'm not aparticularly stunning at any of them but i can bash out a tune or two when needed.

What was that? I was too busy jabber-jawing with the dude next to me. LOL.. that was sooooo true!! Actually though, I really am into music and can be moved to tears by something powerful and moving. I can't tolerate anything high pitched, like Mariah Carry or Whitney (To me they sound like cats in heat)I also feel the same about electric guitars when the musician goes bullestic on those poor strings. :O

Zerup, what about the bagpipes for Taureans?
It takes alot to "wind' us up before we're in full battle cry!
