Hello everybody, sorry for my english, Icome from Spain.I think I have a problem:
I have in my telephone the number 666, and now I¨m buying a house, who´s street number is 66, I have noticed that people sometimes look at me in a strange way when I say my telephone number, and I´m afraid, that now, when I´ll have to give my tel. and my adress, this will become worst.
What do you think about 666?, do you think taht I have to change my tel. number?
I´m a normal person, a mother, I work,and I´m catholic. I didn´T care about this number, but now I´m a bit worried. Would you give me any information about this number?, what do you think about it?------------------

I think the full number is meant to be 6669, but i view it all as a christian superstition, i'm sure the number has a few innate positive points.IP: Logged |

Hello Irene,You can find reference to 666 in the Book of Revelation in the Old Testament, 13:18. It is called "the number of the beast" and does refer to the devil, although it specifies that it is also "the number of a man". Unfortunately this is almost the only detail people ever remember from Revelation, if they ever read it at all, so that is why people may give you strange looks. All they know is that it has something to do with the devil or the apocalypse, or that they heard it on the radio in a heavy metal song, or in a Hollywood movie!!  If you know many ignorant superstitious people who like to make the sign of the "evil eye" at anything that sounds "evil" to them, and you find this very socially embarrassing, then of course you could change your number. A similar example would be if you had the number "69" prevalent in your phone and address numbers, and experienced the smirks and winks of people who like to comment on its sexual connotation. Sometimes we get tired of the same jokes and comments all the time. However, the actual number given in Revelation is "...Six Hundred, threescore and six". That is a specific number, not just three 6s in a row, so this special number does not seem to apply in your case. For everybody's interest, here is the citation (from the Holy Bible, King James version): Revelation 13:18:
" Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred and threescore and six. " I am not a numerologist, but I do know that 6 is believed to be a number of love and harmony, and that 666 breaks down to a 9, which is a number of wisdom. 66 breaks down to 3, another harmonious number. I'm sure your numbers are harmless. Apparently the most difficult number is 8, but none of them are "evil". Anyway I hope you get a good answer from someone who knows numerology, and that you re-read Revelation -- these will help you make your decision. cheers,

Why thank you, trillian!  Maybe it's my TaurusMerc trine Pluto, but I like to dig into knowledge, especially when I realize I don't quite know what I'm talking about!!
