That was AWESOME, Trillian! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Today was a fantabulous day because I just read Proxieme's post about moon sign descriptions and I now have even more proof that there is a good reason for me being the way I am. (Moon in Scorp) AND the stray kittens who live in the crawl-space under my house are less afraid of me and I saw one drink the milk and bread that I put for them and he/she has blue eyes.------------------ Get some love in your groove, just get hip to forgive...-Michael Franks IP: Logged |

Today was a fantabulous day because I went for a Jin Shin Do massage after a distressing week and I had the most astounding vision afterward -- I feel whole and healed. love to All, Lunargirl IP: Logged |

Well, Monday *sucked* because my landlord informed us that we had less than a month to find a new place as he planned to put this house on the market at the end of June...but... Today was a fantabulous day b/c I found a really great new place near the old city of Fairfax, in an established neighborhood (read: with trees and non-cookie-cutter-houses) surrounded by bike paths that lead through "Old Town" and to my Uni I had my "2nd interview" today to see if me & the other roomies meshed; they said that I seem ideal (and they seem like really groovy grad students). I'm going to pay my deposit tomorrow Woo-hoo. LunarG - Have the effects of the massage carried over? IP: Logged |

Today, er, yesterday (I haven't gone to sleep yet; just got in) was/is a fantabulous day b/c... ...on a whim I went to go see a mid-night showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" close to my campus. I was alone there (b/c, apparently, no one I know is cool enough to accompany me ), so I went up to a couple of random, friendly looking guys in quasi-drag milling around in front of the theatre before the show and said, "This is my first one of these...and I was wondering if you could show me the ropes." The one (quite cute one - but then, I have a thing for guys w/ short, spikeyish hair and make-up on...thank you, Eddie Izzard) said, "We'll adopt you," and put a big, lipstick "V" on my forehead (for "RHPS Virgin") and applied some of the same dark color to my lips (as I never wear any usually). So, yeah - the show was great fun; I thoroughly enjoyed yelling at the screen, throwing stuff, and cussing various others. We (the two dudes, another girl, and I) trekked to Denny's aftewards (beware the cheesefries), and enjoyed some time b.s.ing. We went back and watched RHPS again on DVD, stayed up talking until, oh, 5 AM, the other guy went to bed, and...stuff. All in all, a good time was had.IP: Logged |

IM - Instant Messege www.aim.com www.messenger.yahoo.com http://web.icq.com www.trillian.com <---Quite cool, as it combines the aboveYou download some of that (free) software & come-up with a user name; you put in others' users names, and then you may "chat" with them when they are on. --------------------- Edit - Ohhhh - I thought that you were just unusually non-tech savvy I wrote out a cool little explanation and all, too. Thanks I didn't get his birthday/sign yet. I've a creeping suspician that he's a Cancer or has some heavy Cancer influnces going on - he has this Beetle that he's worked on and restored for the past 4 years (it looks really great - black and chrome), and he "really likes nostalgic stuff". So. But he's also gotta have a bunch of air going on there - he can talk more than me and can keep up with my (and even initiate his own) loopy verbal flights of fancy. It's so weird - we actually only saw each other all yesterday (we met around 12 AM on the Saturday/Sunday border, hung out until 7 AM or so; I went home, woke-up at Noon, he popped-on IM, we talked for about an hour/hour and a half, and then he called me again at 7:30 and asked if I wanted to go out for coffee - which we did - and we hung out until 11:30 PM), but it seems like...much longer somehow.
