Hrm... almost everything else in my chart is Fixed... (Aqua Moon, Scorp Rising, Leo Moon/NN, Taurus Venus)...Hrm... That's glorious (re: the sunsets); right now we have wonderfully sultry nights with crickets and frogs going on. The day (if you're outside) is really only suitable for lazing and listening to the cicadas buzz away (though that's still quite nice). PS - Here are some of my lurve-type smilies (if'n ya wanna snatch them to use at some later date): Oh, and today was a Fantabulous Day just Because. (Dude stopped by my work 2x tonight, for about an hour each time; we talked for a while b/f that, and he's going to call @ 11. ) IP: Logged |

*hops over to Soul Unions thread*(hophophop) That is very groovy Harpyr; I have warm and fuzzies thinking about what's happening in your life right now Today was a Fantabulous Day. That's it. It was and is and shall be so. Yesterday dude asked me a bunch of questions re: my "favorite things"; when I asked back, one of his answers was, "OK, I know that this is corny, but roses are my favorite flower." Today I when I drove back from visiting him at work so that I could get ready for my own, I noticed, along the front fence of the house that a few of us are renting out, a single, perfectly formed Pink Rose - the only growing on the sprawling, unkept bush. I rushed upstairs and hurriedly took a shower, ran downstairs and outside to cut it, and then placed it in a vintagey glass bottle that I had, arranging bits of leaves around it. I then drove like a maniac back to his place of employment and presented it to him. We acted like dorks for a few minutes, and then parted. Later, he came to my office, plopped down beside me, and said, "My manager teased me mercilessly about the thumb-kiss I gave you (long story) and about the flower. I acted all girly; I kept looking out the window and daydreaming, and then smelling it. I wrote some of them down, but I don't want to show you yet. Later." And he brought me a slice of Pecan Pie, saying that it was the only thing that he could think of that was "as sweet" (har de har har) as what I gave him. Hey Harpyr!!! Wanna play catch w/ some rainbows? ----------- Oh, waitwaitwait - and something really odd happened last night/this morning: We ended our intial call on a bit of a down note; I talked about how I'm planning on joining the Peace Corps once I'm done w/ my BA, and he got...well, all down. We hung up, I melted down into my covers, and then my phone rang - but not a normal tone. I picked up to hear it ringing from my end (as if I had called someone), and then hung up. Immediately thereafter, I got a return call from him, saying that he had *69'd and gotten my number (as his phone had just rung). o_O We then talked for a bit longer and ended on a generally more up beat note. Weird, though, still. ------- Ohohoh - And I found out that I made Dean's List for last semester While slacking horribly IP: Logged |

Yesterday was pretty cool b/c my bro took me to the Yankee game where they hit those three homers in a row, and beat the Mets yet again. I did think it a bit odd that we were seated next to a priest. Hmm. Oh well. IP: Logged |

Today is a fantabulous day because Jason, after calling me and talking on the phone with me for like 30 minutes (it was supposed to be a quick call), called back a couple minutes later to say, "Uhm, I know that I probably don't have to say this, but this is just me being me and wanting to make sure and worrying - if when you call later you can't get me on my house phone, try my cell." "Erm...OK..." "I mean, that's just me worrying and making sure...OK. I needed a good excuse to call back and hear your voice and say that I love you." "I love you, too." "I mean, otherwise it would've been like, 'Um, OK - is that it?' so...and I just wanted to say that." "I love you so much, Goofus."

Well, as I posted in another thread somewhere, the shiny diamond of a guy w/his Mars in Scorpio may just be a piece of foil gum wrapper in the dirt...the jury is still out on that! But today was a fantabulous day because...I mailed off a copy of my recently-completed first novel to the Library of Congress Copyright Office today! I was actually a little breathless/nervous! Now comes the really fun part! Getting published and being on the bestseller charts! Proxie....so happy for you, being in love and all! Very cool....

Dude! Trillian! What's it called?!? What's it about?!?I wanna march out and support my fellow LLer Thankya kindly re: the being happy fer me part And now, I shall post a goofy picture of the two of us (the Aqua and myself). Because I feel like doing so. So there. Dubya took it when we all went up to Sperryville; that stream runs through some of my fam's land It's actually the goofiest of all the mountain pics, but it's the one that Andy sent me. Hey, Dub! Where's one where I don't look like I'm about to fall? And yesterday was a Fantabulous Day because I got scared by lightening for the first time in my memory. There was a powerful string of thunderstroms that swept across this area last night. I got home from work in the midst of a particularly hard downpour, and dropped my keys in a runoff streamlet that was at least 5 in. deep. As I frantically searched for them, my little body hairs all stood on end. My first reaction was to duck and cover, an action immediately followed by what sounded like the earth opening and the brightest flash I've ever seen. I don't know how far away it was, but I'm OK by the grace of something. Ohohoh - AND that was after dude called me up from his friend's house which is only a few blocks away from my school/job just as I was done for the night, insisting that he would feel much more comfortable if I'd drive there and wait out the worst instead of going directly back to my place. I went there, soaked anyway, as a calm broke. We waited there for exactly the length of the calm; seeing that it seemed to last, we walked out to our cars and kissed as the lightening rolled back in. It was quite cool. IP: Logged |

proxie, I can't see the pic! Dunno why...the Viggo pic was visible....will you be posting it in the gallery? What I'll tell you about my novel so far is that the genre is definitely 'chick book!' It's a modern love triangle, it's spicy and saucy and sexy and sad and happy...lots o' things. I'm not ready to post the title or details...which is not a personal affront to anyone here. I'm still just really protective of my baby.... When the time is right, I'll tell you all about it! BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH for the words of support! OK...I'm at work, more soon...must get busy! Today i started gutting my showreel to redo it, revisited a couple of "broken" tracks i've wanted to redo for ages, sent someone some money i owed them, and cooked dinner for my parents. Then i sat outside on a white wrought iron chair in the sun, and smoked a cigarette while the wind rustled the leaves on a quite frankly oversized eucalyptus tree in the garden. The lawn is mowed and everything in the vegetable patch looked green. I could hear the ducks from three doors down quacking and although i couldnt hear our hens i knew they were safe pecking around in the front garden. I felt fine for want of a better word although for some reason we are taught that these days just being "fine" is not good enough. If we were all "fine", then surely nobody would ever feel the need to acheive anything and i suddenly felt guilty for feeling "fine", because I shouldn't be considering the daily problems my own family unit face and the problems of the world at large. I hope maybe there will be a day when, if just for a few minutes, everyone, at once, can sit down and just feel "fine". I get the feeling maybe we've acheived enough and should start concentrating on the human cost. IP: Logged |

Dern, Dubya, you've been busy. There's nothing wrong with feeling "fine"; cherish that while it chooses to hang around. As long as it doesn't turn into malaise, it's grand juniperb - A 2-headed calf Nuts! 1scorp - Really? Questions for me? Yeah, that'd be cool; fire away - proxieme @ Yahoo IM. IP: Logged |

Because today is just a beautiful day in NYC. My coworker, my friend who works around here and his coworker just spent lunchtime in the park listening to song from Phantom of the Opera and other shows being performed by the artists who actually recorded them. Gorgeous day, great ambiance and company. That's what it's all about. Now it's back to waiting for a slooow system to load. lol IP: Logged |

That is pert dern cool re: Opera in the Park *looks around idly* *begins to belt-out tune in the general key of (but not to the tune of) a kid singing "The Mickey Mouse Club" song* Ohhhh, I love Jason, yes I do He's so kind and con-si-der-ate! Ohh, I love Jason, every day, and he tells me that he loooves me, too! He's the greatest guy that I ever did see: He's an exceptional person, and intelligent to boot; I treasure each and every moment that he's with me. (bom, bom, bom) He says, "I love you in the morning, and I love you in the night, I love you to both the Moon and Sun's Pale and bright shining light! I love you when I'm working, and I love you when I play; I love you more and more Each and every single day! I love you with my heart, I love you with my soul, I love you with each and every part of me, Don't you know?" (bom, bom, bom) I look into his eyes and then I search his face - Deception, can I find it? No, not a sin-gle trace. I then hug him and I kiss him, and say I love him, too; Don't know how we found each other, but I must admit it's cool... *looks around* Wha? *composes self* *continues to hum* *dances around a bit* skiddamarinkadinkadink, skiddamarinkadoo! Iiii looove yooouuu! IP: Logged |

It wasn't actual opera-just performers singing from musicals. [Phantom of the Opera[/i] was one of them. I was pretty impressed with myself at being able to recognize the songs right away. IP: Logged | |
