My new job's an on-campus dealio w/ tech support/AV/EC (Electronic Classrooms). It'll be groovy as h#ll, for the most part b/c they're really great about working around class hours; and, besides, I can just walk from there to class There's a (PAID!!!) internship that I have some info on, too... I may look into that... What classes are you taking this summer? Mine (through June) is "Intro to Multimedia" (or: Making Groovy Websites). IP: Logged |

Congrats proxi! Do you go to school in D.C., or VA? Just curious, as my college was in D.C. I loved D.C. while I was there, still miss city life in a lot of ways. I have several friends living in your area. Anyway, congrats on your accomplishments! IP: Logged |

Gaw, thanks ya'll D - When's your semester over? Are you taking any summer courses? tril - Naw, not DC - I'm much too cheap for that. I'm currently in the 'burbs, although I do live close enough in that I can just take the Metro whenever I feel like getting a taste of the city or wish to have a relatively inexpensive day out (hurrah for free museums and the zoo!). I think I'd miss DC if I ever moved away; I grew up in the area, and the city, w/ all its quirks, is part of me. Where're your friends living? Do they get to tackle "the mixing bowl"? ------------------------------------- Oh, and the "funny thing" I promised: http://home.earthlink.net/~proxieme/NCLC375.jpg IP: Logged |
