Greetings to everyone - this is my first post. I've been a Linda fan since I was 17 (am 25 now) and recently was very excited to be able to find "Gooberz" and "Star Signs" in hardcover on Ebay. I also found an original hardcover copy - 1st Ed. of Sun Signs. Recently, someone was selling a book called "Linda Goodman's Love Poems". I'd never heard of it - knowing only "Venus Trines at Midnight" as her only poem book (does anyone know where I can get that one, by the by?).I just got it in the other day. Apparently it is a collection of poems, some from "Venus Trines at Midnight". Has anyone else ever heard of this book, or does anyone else have it? Mine is hardcover and appears to have been published in 1980 (not positive on that date - will have to check when I get home). Thanks. ------------------ The unseen, the unknown, the mystery - this is what drives me; propels me forward on new journeys as dark corners of my mind are lit with the evergrowing bright light of my enlightened soul. - me IP: Logged |

Yes, Bendis, it is a different book, and courtesy of a generous fellow Knowflake sweetpeas, I have a copy. It's another awesome collection of Linda's astounding skilled verse.------------------ -K "Most people love with restraint As if they were someday to hate We hated gently, carefully As if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnight IP: Logged |

Virgo-AriesArtist: Thanks for the info. As I've never read Venus Trines at Midnight I was wondering - are there poems in "Love Poems" that aren't included in VTaM, or is it just a few selected from that book? Thanks for the info.Randall: Thank you!! Glad to be here; truly. Sweetpeas: How kind of you! You must have a well-stocked Linda Goodman treasury! lol I appreciate your offer so much. IP: Logged |
