If any of you live in the New England and New York area then you know what I'm talking about.

The rain is really bad up here, I mean it just won't end for even a day.

Spring didn't feel like Spring and Summer doesn't feel like Summer.
At this rate, the beaches will never get warm enough to swim in.

I've heard of droughts that happen becuase a certain area has a lot of immoral activity going on. But this is strange, the rain won't stop. We also had a really cold winter as well.

My theory is that there a lot of people who are sad, or are suffering from a lot of depression, and thats why the rain isn't ending.

There was hardly any snow for the winter but it was painfully cold. Very strange!

Eh, we're getting it down here, too;
at least we're not in a drought

Everything's green (if a bit muddy and/or flooded).
I feel like I'm in Britain.

*skips off to Fantabulous Day thread*

I really think it's a depression thing.

P'haps.
Stranger things have happened - the people of a land are out of balance, and so then is the land.

(But we've - in VA - been really wet all around since this Fall - I can't help but be happy about it. I love green and growing, wet and stretching things; I felt dragging during the drought.)

I've heard they're (the Big They, whoever they really are! ) blaming this year's weather on El Nino again.

Man, that weather system is like the bin Laden of weather-- blamed for everything!

I have an Australian buddy who has been driving down to New Hampshire to surf since last month -- wearing a thick grade wetsuit, of course. That's nuts! We used to go to Hampton Beach in the summers, and the water would make you numb in July, but any earlier than that, and it was so cold it _hurt_!! But I admire his dedication -- he likes his fun.

Guess we'll just have to invent summer if it refuses to exist, StarLover.

How are you doing, BTW? You had a lot going on awhile back, didn't you?

Geez and we could use rain here in MI desperately. Our hay yield is 1/2 and the farmers are in dire straits. Our food crops are way behind because of a late cold spring and now the crops are burning up

Grandmother earth is really struggling and we need to pray for balance.

The weather is weird everywhere. Maybe it's that polar shift thing someone mentioned in another thread. I can't remember what thread it's in.

It's summertime and here in S. California the temperature's in the 60's. That's cold for us at this time of year.

I was so happy to take your rain Star

We went to the Freedom Festival last night and half way thru, it started pouring again. Not a soul went for cover. It was pure heaven sitting on the lake listening to the rain splash on the water and feel it`s cooling effects
