Middlemarch - George EliotBest novel ever.(Atlas Shrugged #2) If I had a choice of having the best painter ever do a portrait for me of me, or have George Eliot describe me in words, I'd choose George. She was simply amazing. Spiritualy The White Book by Ramtha. It hit me soundly in the soul. (Oh was I just to mention one book...sorry) I will stop now... Peace, Matty

Conversations with God series- any of em, but the second is my favorite. The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight- Thom Hartmann- an ecological analysis of the state of our resources and what to do about it. A People's History of the Unites States- Howard Zinn- read only if you want to know the truth about US history- beware, you'll never be the same. Illusions and Jonathan Livingston Seagull- Richard Bach. IP: Logged |

Anything by Wayne Dyer; one of my favorites is "Your Sacred Self".It's helped me a lot with my perceptions and oversensitive tendencies. ------------------ "Yes, I am a dreamer. 'Embraced by the Light' by Bettie Edie. It's one woman's account of a near death experience, and it truly changed me. (in a good way). Simply written, and irrepressibly touching. Trust me.I read this book in 4 hours. IP: Logged |

I have to recommend "THE AQUARIAN GOSPEL OF JESUS THE CHRIST." I believe it is one of Linda's recommended books. It's a channeled book about the early years of Jesus. The book was transcribed by Levi H. Dowling. It was a very enlightening book. A must read for anyone who has ever wondered about Jesus' lost years. You can actually even read it on line now for free ... http://reluctant-messenger.com/aquarian_gospel.htm Heidi IP: Logged |

For anybody with pets:What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines ~ Catherine O'Driscoll (had me crying as i read the first chapter, but a must-read). Herbs for Pets ~ Mary-Wulff Tilford, Greg Tilford (packed with information, and beautifully presented). For caretakers of blind dogs, those with cushings, diabetes, pancreatitis, or epilepsy: Catherine D. Levin's books http://www.petcarebooks.com . I had a much longer list here, but those (including Herbs for Pets) are described in greater detail at this site: http://www.caberfeidh.com/Books.htm . Angela

I'm an avid reader and my guy and I sell antique and rare books for a living, so we are surrounded with books. My favorites change with the wind. Always nonfiction and usually nature/wildlife or occult-related, with an auto/biography or accounts of historical events once in a while. I also enjoy the OLD beautifully engraved fairy tale books that have the original, unhappy endings. IP: Logged |

The series by George R.R. Martin: 'A Clash of Kings', 'A Game of Thrones', 'A Storm of Swords'; the series will be continued with 'A Feast for Crows, 'A Dance with Dragons','A Wind from the North', and 'A Time for Wolves'.The last four novels are yet to be published, and I'm on tenterhooks waitng for them! I think this series, called 'A Song of Ice and Fire', is the best fantasy since 'The Lord of the Rings'. ------------------ Hello everybody!
