1scorp, I stare off into space alot as well!Another thing, I cant stand the feel my carpet in the house, i always wear slippers or sandals in the house. If i were to step in some sugar that had fallen on the floor, i believe i would go into convulsions. yeah there are living bugs everywhere, especially in the carpet. Little teeny tiny invisible bugs called Dust Mites... EW

Okay, no laughing....I love the smell and taste of pages on an old book. You know, they have that earthy musty smell? When I was young, I would stick my tongue into the book and close it. LOL...cause would taste cool. Even now. I LOVE IT.

1Scorp, I missed ya around, or is it me!? I love your faces! They're só positive and, well just wonderful!Pidaua, geez, now you're talking...I love earth so much I think I can call it a fetish of mine. I can só understand what you said!!!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering what it could mean, if meaning would mean anything. I mean (uh-oh) I love when I see people wiping off earth from a coffin (you know in those films where they dig up someone and blow off the dust of their coffin or just with their hands), wiping their shoes off from rock dust or just the sound of their shoes on mountain rocks (those little stones), I love the taste of all veggi's uncooked (especially raw mushrooms), the earth taste ow so yammie. I love the smell of dirt or earth that has been rained on. I don't know if my english is at all correct here but I had to reply on this. What could it be? It could be called a drug to me when I go to sellars. Just sniffing up the old smell in there I could go high! Gotta stop! This is too much for me......... Ana, I love you too! IP: Logged |

Ok, ok..I've got more oddness in me... maybe I shouldn't....Well, ok. I do voices when I'm alone. Like, the broadcaster guy voice, or Edie McLurge (Ooh, MY! ), or the Russian bag lady, or Ren and Stimpy voices, or whatever I'm inspired to do that day. Yes, I've been busted, performing Offspring's...'Pretty Fly for a White Guy', the part that goes "Give it to me Babay. Uhuh uhuh!!" But those who know me just shrug it off anyway. I told ya...I'm a kook. I like to amuse myself while I'm driving, or cleaning, or doing any mundane task. Might as well make it fun! I do a good Bart Simpson too, and a not bad Beavis & Butthead laugh. (Uhh..hu hu hu. uhh hu hu hu....he said "hard on"...) Ok, so I don't just do it when I'm alone. I do it whenever I need to amuse myself...but generally not in public. (generally ) IP: Logged |

yes I hate foam rubber.. and the noise nose tissues make when rubbed together. ------------------ I haven’t been very well.. Feeling kind of seasick.. Tryin’ to follow your contrail.. You’re flying miles above my head.. While I’m dreaming underwater sleeping in a whale.. When the stars begin to shine.. Let me be in this number.. And then it comes within a wave.. Like LSD to phantasy.. Like gasoline into a fire.. Like virgin blood to a vampire.. And everybody starts to cry IP: Logged |

1scorp:Hm. Hmmm. Hmmmmmm. I wonder... re: photophobic sneezing: That's _very_ interesting...I wonder how much of a water sign thing it is. I do it, as does my (Cancer) bro, as did my (Scorp/Pisces Moon) Grandpa. I thought that it was an odd-ball familial thing, or something linked primarily to those w/ very N. European ancestry, but then I met another Scorp dude who does it who's family's primarily American Indian and French. IP: Logged |

Oh yeah Lioneye....well, I may eat books, but I don't do voices when I am alone...okay, that's not true. I do that as well, but mostly it's when I talk to my cats. LOL....It's nice to see that we are all odd in fun ways. ...now where is that old book I was munching on. IP: Logged |

proxieme: I learned about photophobic sneezing in an anthropology class -- it's also called "photic sneezing" -- and yep, it's genetic. About as common as the genetic capacity to roll one's tongue up, but more common than hitchhiker's thumb, if I recall correctly. Factoid of the day, ma'am. Lunargirl IP: Logged |

Yep, I learned that, too. The only thing that struck me was that it doesn't quite follow Mendellian genetic lines - there's no clear pattern of inheritence...which got me thinking: p'haps it can be _more clearly_ traced by heavy water element influence (since astrological influences tend to follow family lines, although w/o any clear pattern), no?IP: Logged |

Pidaua! That has to be one of the craziest things I've heard!!Drea: Really? You too? Just to see if it has anything to do with relating to signs... what sign are you? As I know people that NEVER do this... or I assume they don't as they find it a bit odd that I enjoy it so much Sylven (spelling?) Mercy really right?? Thank you. I'm bright, shiny and happy? Who would've thought... being such a scorpio and all You like raw veggies... especially the mushroom kind? (yeah, I remember) Lunar... No. Hasn't got back yet. I still have about a week and a half!! Prox: My fishy friend... Yep, I'll get this twingle tickle right in my sinus area... (I don't have sinus problems either) my eyes will begin to water... then Sneeze!! Coming in late here but what the heck!I love: Bonfires. Watching my chickens scratch for corn. Watching my duck splashing in his old bath with the silver taps I am too lazy to remove! Picking my head ( my mum and grandma did it to so I can't help it, it's hereditary and SOOO relaxing). Flying my kite. Boot sales (you never know what treasure you are going to find). Musty book shops (ditto). The smell of cut grass. Dragonfies dancing over my pond. Blue **** feeding their young with my peanuts. Blues Brothers music. and and a night in front of the TV, with a bottle of plonk, a good friend and Driving Miss Daisy as our video of choice. I hope one day I am that old and eccentic, keeping my family on their toes without being a complete drag but........most importantly I would sooooooooo treasure that friendship. Au revoir from an eccentric old bird!

I am odd for the following reasons:1. I like to go outside and dance in the rain whenever possible. 2. I'm obsessed with The Cosby Show. I even did a speech on it for my English 11 class last year. 3. I delight in making lists such as this one (most are kept in my head, though.) IP: Logged |
