"I bow to the divine in you."Namaste: I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells. I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Truth, of Light and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One. IP: Logged |

'namaste' is an indian greeting derived from the language sanskrit(or hindi) and the script devnagari. it can be broken further into 2 words- namah- i bow te- to you. it can also be interpreted as "the god in me bows down to the god in you". in india people greet each other by folding their hands and saying 'namaste' hope this helps.

no, not as paste. aste is as in 'aster';i mean u just pronounce aster as usual but without the 'r'. and the t in namaste is not spoken as the t in tender ;it is more as 'tha'. hope i did'nt lose u out there completely. IP: Logged |
