I knew this lovely girl whose parents named her... Joy Temple. Is it me, but do people often choose professions that refelect their names?? There's a dentist in town of Dutch origin, whose name is Dr. Herten-Greaven ("hurtin' grievin'"). Not joking!!

Lioneye! Reminds me of a pal of mine, who answered phones for a place called the Family Medical Clinic (in NS, I think). She guessed they called it that instead of the doctor's name, which was -- I kid you not - Dr. Deth (of East Indian origin). Watamaniuk... bwahahaaa! ("when Ukies go bad... very bad...") If they had each others last names and they were dating, they'd be Virgin Love and Dick Payne. How fitting! IP: Logged |
