My twelve year old boy, T.C. (stands for 'that creature') was traumatized during last week's severe storms. He's always disliked loud noises, and these storms in the middle of the night literally shook the house. The booms were sonic! Felt like the thunder was coming from the ceiling...and T.C. hid under the bed.

Well, it's been difficult to coax him out, and he's making some progress, but he's still not eating. Drinking some, grooming, his eyes are bright, but I will not stop worrying about him till he eats.

It's a holiday weekend, no vets in the office, but I spoke to a woman on the emergency number. She feels this is not uncommon, and that he will regain his appetite, but I'll call my regular vet in the a.m. anyway. And on the way home today I'll stop and buy some chicken or turkey to cook and hopefully tempt him with.

If you wonderful powerful people could spare him some healing light I will be eternally grateful. He's a beautiful big gray fluffy 17 pound baby!

Thank you!

Awww hugs to T.C. It is normal but very distressing. You NEED Rescue Remedy in the house. It will help him right now as well as you can give it to him before the next boomers start to prevent the stress.

A coulpe of drops every 20 mins or so and he`ll come around. It`s for acute stress and is a miracle in a bottle!

Any good Naturalist store should carry it. I`d phone around and find it asap.

Love & lite to you both!!

Healing white light for T.C. my dog acts the same way with thunderstorms, but he has never refused food AFTER the storm passed. My dog really loves to eat though, so I am not sure about your kitty.

Awwwwww... BIG Light to sweet T.C. and trillian!!

And also try these other Bach Flower remedies, along with Rescue Remedy -- Mimulus and Aspen. They helped my fraidy cat get over some nasty shocks.

Also, therapeutic touch massaging his ears might help too.

It's a similar story with my chickens - although they tend to recover faster the morons next door decided fireworks would be funny...

the chickens were not amused.

Trillan, how is T C this a.m.? Any improvement?

Poor Henny Penny, I`ve had to fetch my chickens out of the tree tops too because of some foolishness. Rescue Remedy works for them too.

I`ve got a late season hatch of new chicks & they`re so fuzzy wuzzy & cute.

Well, this triple Aries/triple Cap is a blubbering idiot this am...

He's in the hospital. He has a liver problem, they have him hooked to IVs to try and get his electrolytes back in order, treating him with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, and trying to force-feed him. The longer he doesn't eat the worse it is for him.

Thank you so much for your help. I'm just really scared.

Thank you so much for your kind support.
He's still at the Vet, he'll have to spend the night. Too early to tell if he's responding to the meds yet.

I think this is the first night since he was a kitten that he hasn't spent at home! It'll be weird w/o his little furry self...

Thank you again. I'll keep you posted.

Thank you so much for remembering my little guy in your thoughts.

The vet said he showed some improvement this a.m., and licked a little food. So that's good...they will redo his blood test today, so I should have more news this afternoon.

Blessings to you all for your kindness.

T.C.'s liver function has decreased, so they are operating on him this morning, to determine what the problem is.
I'm also going to have an herbal liver tonic overnighted to me, it is designed to aid in regenerating the liver.

Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.

light to both Trillian and T.C.

I checked the transits. The Moon is in Sagittarius, ruler of the liver. Traditionally in non-emergency operations, it is best to avoid the Moon that rules the body part being operated on.

I pray that things will turn out good, nonetheless

Thank you so much...
The operation will be this afternoon.
Aphrodite, yes, you are right...but this was considered an emergency, as his liver function continues to decrease. And tomorrow the moon is void nearly all day...*sigh*

But I'm grateful to all of you for your kindness.

He's gone.
He was too sick to fix, I had to let him go.
I buried him high on a hillside, overlooking rolling mountains and forests. I'll miss him immensely.

Thank you for your caring and kindness. I hope it comes back to you a hundredfold.
