I didn't want to leave on a semi-sour note, but my mind couldn't get off of this on the way here to work:Re: Randall's reference to Andy "doing something to the site" (in the "Like a knife through my heart" thread): Unless you have this place protected like the NSA, Andy would have been easily able to destroy it as an internet entity;
and, frankly, why he never said as much to me, it's my understanding that he was tossing the idea around (you show me a wounded Cancer Moon who doesn't at least contemplate retaliation) -
but he didn't and he won't.
He's dismissed that idea because it would be wrong, because that's the kind of guy that Andy is. It was hasty to dismiss Ruby from her moderatorship because of something that might have been done, either on her end or on Andy's. IP: Logged |

people vent too, when they are hurting. i cant think of many people who have never been angry and said 'oh i wish so and so would just die' etc etc. its human nature. that doesnt mean we are all serial killers. btw thats just an example, nobody ever spoke of murder *shouldnt have to explain that but considering the climate...* its a normal human thing, and i believe that the proper thing to do would have been to contact him by email and see if you couldnt deal with it openly. i bet there would have been a different outcome had it been dealt with with some diplomacy. just a suggestion. further, i highly doubt banning him would do anything but provoke a person. that just doesnt make any sense, lol. and thats not a threat either, just an observation because the logic around here is extremely fuzzy. *shakes head in consternation* IP: Logged |

oh dear..
this is just too much for me...
Corri and Andy were two of the brightest lights for me here at lindaland.
I don't really know what's going on as far as the circumstances leading up to this situation so as far as that is concerned I have no opinion. But this exodus of knowflakes seems to leave such a huge gaping hole that I don't imagine I will feel the need to frequent this place as much.  Not that I'd been posting all that much lately anyways, but it's especially sad because I'm about to get the internet back up at my home and was planning on spending more time here.Randall, I don't mean to be insulting but seeing as how this is the second time large numbers of devoted knowflakes have left all at once, perhaps you should question your handling of the situation. I'm not a fan of censorship and I don't think that Linda was either. Blessed Be, everyone.
