Ohgawd, Vegemite!

I had a friend from Perth who had me taste it once...
granted, he insisted that I put it on lightly toasted bread with a thin layer of butter or margarine underneath.
I did.
It was...edible.
But I could see how someone could mistake it for mechanic's grease.

I layer it on thick every morning and sometimes for tea too. It is a great source of vitamin B.
