Yes, yes!!!!
Not that you should feel a personal responsibility for the threads you start, I mean, I CAN be humble, but... THIS IS WHAT I WANTED!!!!! A place where we can post spectacular things about people here, and make them swell and feel good. That is a good thing! I agree ten fold with the observations you made, Lioneye, I couldn't have said it better myself, about all these amazing people.
Yourself included.... you are humorous, insightful, caring, gifted with both writing and presenting yourself in a non-judgemental way.... You have a charming, no apologies attitude, and indeed, nothing to apologize for!!! You rock!
I am not defensive!
(yes I am.... it's just no one ever needs defending here!)

PixelP - Yeah, I kept almost responding & then kept not being able to think of a suitable response.

Garsh.

I'll write more once my brain recongeals from work.

What I like about all us LL'ers is that usually we get along, sometimes we argue, but we always seem to make it right in the end...it's a lovely mix here, and that's what a forum lives from. It's become my favourite forum lol

lioneye said such wonderful things about all of us, there's no way I could further her descriptions of the lovely peeps here. She is truly insightful...

And I have to sing your praises too, lioneye. You are the true embodiment of the best of what Leo has to give to this world: kind, generous, fun, and loving. Your understanding of astrology always impresses me, and your ability to look outside of yourself and respect the viewpoints of others has always earned my admiration. I always read your posts with interest, and I have learned from you. You rock, lioneye.

TINK...moi? Earth Momma? Cool! So long as I can keep all my Estee Lauder products, my blow dryer, my mousse...
Interesting that you should mention "One." I pulled it out to send to a friend, she has a troubled life and needs some reading material, but after I sent the package, I noticed that particular book did not make it in the box. So...I thought perhaps it was something meant for me to read again. And no, I haven't heard anything further about them,either...

Yep, Lioneye, you rock - and your description of me made me blush, too. And thank you for not "gushing"...I'm not sure if it's my Aqua Moon or Pisces Sun, but I would've crawled under a table.

You're nearly as cool as my wacky Leo Sun, Pisces Moon Grandmommy.

Ah yes, Estee Lauder. I believe I owe her my first born child. Do I detect a fellow product junkie, Trillian?

One of my bookcases is right next to the computer and I just happened to look down mid-post and there it was - "One". It's been hiding behind a recently moved little carved elephant. I had forgotton I even owned it. Hmm. Weird syncronicity of the Universe.

Anyway, I do think you have a calm, maternal sort of air about you. You don't seem to jump to conclusions or go to extremes. Hence the Earth Mother tag. Earth Mommas can be style mavens too!

Thanks, yes, I do, I do.... Sometimes, I will get a look from across the room, depending on who's home.... Like... What are you looking at, that makes you giggle?
AH! If you can't laugh at yourself, then that means you are laughing at others and that just isn't nice! ( Although sometimes wholly necessary!!!)

Hi All,

I missed you all soooo much!!!! I do hope you know when I said "this crazy place" I was talking about my work place. LOL... Not LindaLand because I love it too much.

I was in Las Vegas and Post Falls, Idaho (my brother finally got a modem....after I left town) so I was out of the sync for a while.

Aphrodite,

Thank you for thinking of me. I think you are probably one of the most profound people on this list. You are also one of the most confident and intellectual person I have met.

Pixelpixie, thank you for letting people know where I was. You are so much fun and think of some of the best posts. The vibe I get from you is one of total confidence, as well as I can tell you are one heck of a passionate person with anything that you take a liking to.

Lioneye,

You are so cool. I always look forward to your posts and you make me laugh with your directness.

There are alot of great people here. I get such a great vibe from most people, even those I do not agree with on certain things. LOL...

There are some people that scare the heck out of me because they are a bit more chaotic than I am used too, but then again, one persons chaos is another persons peace.

Take care!!!!

Pidaua! I am glad you are back, and I hope you had fun!!!

As far as my having supreme confidence? Well, I certainly have my moments.... but In all honesty, I think it is more pride I possess, and sometimes that is misdirected... Confidence wanes, pride can be present but false. I guess it's good that even when I am wallowing in self pity, I come across that way. I try to have fun and look at the bright side, but it's hard to be positive always when your major astro influences are Scorpio, who looks underneath everything, and sees less purity, and a Cappy moon who sees the truth in such harsh things, not to mention Leo rising, who presents a proud face, no matter how wounded she is feeling. But I am honestly an optimist! It's just that sometimes I have to work on it harder than other natural ones!

Hi Aphrodite,

I do understand!! I am an INFJ. It is that feeling part that causes me the most confusion. I really am shy at heart, but I put on a confident air and I am genuinely curious about people. Then they get too close and then I have to run to kind of gather my thoughts. It is kind of weird.

I tested as an INFJ when I was in High School Psych about 20 years ago and retested in college. One thing did kind of waver which was the Judgement versus Perception. Seems I am right on the border but lean more towards judgement.

My brother is an ESTJ and my Leo is an INTJ. I do see the introvert in me. I love to spend long periods alone - but still have to ability to reach out and talk to people if I feel lonely.

The hardest part is that I do FEEL a ton towards people, but like you, have a hard time getting that across. I have heard the 'Why are you so distant or You just don't care'. Inside I am feeling at a loss to help them because my nature is to try and "fix" things.

The past few years and really made me come out of my shell. It's a whole new world!!!

Proxi,

Hey, how are ya? How is the wee one? Thank you for your concern, but things are cool. The beef industry was knocked down a few pegs, but beef is still safe. My advice to anyone eating beef, ALWAYS choose USDA choice or Prime. That GUARANTEES that you will never encounter a downer cow or a cow from another country that has regulatory issues.SELECT is where you find your cruddy meat. Also NEVER eat those prepared beef meals - unless they say CHOICE - because they usually have select or downer cow beef.

The cattlemen have long been against the dairy industry pawning off their sick cows into the meat supply. These facilities are known as "gypos" in the industry because they just feed the cows enough to get them to walk and then sell them off.

Also be wary of butchers. Make sure they have USDA choice or prime in their selection. I know of a well read Cappy that was getting suckered by a butcher selling him select beef. I had him ask about it and then the butcher got angry, but at least he found out he was getting select - AND it was soooo expensive.

Costco has great beef prices and they sell only USDA Choice and above - even as ground beef.

Another good brand is Certified Angus Beef http://www.certifiedangusbeef.com/

You can also get more information on BSE or beef at www.beef.org (National Cattlemen's association) they have a ton of information and links to USDA and the FDA.

Pid - I wasn't worried about beef/the beef industry, really; I know ya'll are watching it...heck, this one was from Canada, anyway, right?
I'd just hate to be stuck in that media fervor.
The kiddo and I are doing fine

Tink, Thanks. You`re welcome to take a week & a peek at my bookcaseS... maybe you can help me locate my missing Ted Andrews books

I would like to add the vibration of Daf and Meile Z as a sourse of interest, spiritually necessary ( there are no coinincidences ), a comfort, extremely thought provoking and spiritually challenging.. Two of the sturdyest souls carrying thru with their purposes, laying their messages out for those to see. A true higher purpose that I feel blessed to have here sharing with us.

All the vibrations here rock and have a unique purpose as we walk along our path at LL

To whomever asked about Richard Bach and whether he and Leslie are still together... I was so saddened to hear that they're not.

I agree with everyone - you all are so warm and caring. Thanks for being there. I used to be around more often; I'm going to try to "come back", as they say.

Love
