I have lots to share . . . TWAFD because . . .

a) The landlord bought our flat a new stove
b) My room is being re-painted light purple, linden white, with white moulding
c) I pick up the very last item today for a vacation next Saturday
d) I have a chiropractor appointment today for an adjustment

TWAFDB the new Incubus CD "A Crow Left of the Murder" came out! And it's turning out to be my favorite album by them =).

Aph - I dunno if an adjusted spine in a newly decorated room with some freshly-baked food can be beat

Everlong - Ohh!

*deciding whether or not to spend the dough*
I rather like Incubus, too

TWAFD for me because I laid for a half an hour in bed feeling the kiddo squirm vigorously. She ended-up doing what felt like trying to push her head into my chest (I felt the little round dome of her skull between my rib cages and her legs working my guts) for a good 15 minutes, only stopping when she got a case of the hiccups.

TWAFD also b/c I'm about to go to the MWR Rec Center in order to see if the 2x weekly Yoga lessons at the annex ($15 a month - !!!) will allow preggers members.
OH! And there're a number of classes at the SACS that I'm going to take (I'm-a gonna make a baby quilt, take a pencil drawing class, a water color class, and a wood-working safety class so that I may work in the woodshop - all of those are free + your own materials or $5 for the materials and lesson, depending).

*revels in stuff to do so that I don't go insane as I'm 7 mo pregnant and have just moved...no one'll hire me...nooooo academic classes to take*

*Lil' Baby Bull's kicking my bladder as I get ready to go out to the Commissary*

I guess she doesn't like C-SPAN.
(That's on right now in the background.)
Or maybe it's just the US House of Reps that gets her...or maybe the the debate on federal funding of faith-based charities with religious restrictions on hiring practices. Yeah, I'll say that she's getting all hot and bothered over that.

*trumpets and fanfare*

TWAFD b/c I'm offa bedrest!

*ticker-tape*

I mean, it's probably a good thing regardless - I had gotten so bored that I had taken to seeing if I could annoy the kiddo into moving. That can't be, y'know, healthy for a fetus.

TWAFD b/c I'm feeling much better than yesterday (I kept falling out - there were several times where I was going to either sit down or experience my body sitting me down)...guess my extra iron supplements haven't kicked-in yet...

And because
*looks around*
*breathes sigh of relief*
my friend - who really is a great person and did help me out quite a bit yesterday, as she's a Taurus OB Nurse who insisted on taking care of me through the night to make sure that nothing was seriously wrong - has taken her children back to her house, and I am now here alone with Jazz and some cleaning to do. Don't get me wrong - they're nice, nice people, sweet kids...but, dern, every word they all say is said in a yell. I forget how much I soak stuff up until I'm around it for a day and a half or so, and I couldn't leave (we were at her house at the time - today I offered that they come back here to take a bath/shower as their shower in their temporary quarters is currently not functioning) as my car was back on Post. I sat there, quiet and pleasant, completely and utterly on edge. Jason called (he's off of lock-down as of today ) and immediately asked what was wrong. I told him the situation, and he said, "Leave there as soon as you can - I can tell when you've got to get out of some place, and you're not doing well there."
Gotta love 'im
He's what every Fish needs - a guy who can tell when our little emotional field is off before we'll admit it.
Mid-way through our convo, I said, "Babe, you've gotta promise me that we won't yell all that we say, please, please..."
"I know what you mean, honey - don't worry."
Once again,

Aw, prox...sorry to hear about your issues with remaing vertical...I too had light-headedness and fainting spells when i was in my last trimester...turned out that kiddo was putting pressure on some major arteries, in addition to the fact that I happen to have particularly LOW blood pressure. (which I only found out when I was in my 3rd trimester)

I don't think you have to worry about heart attacks or strokes quite as much if you have low blood pressure, so in that case, I guess I don't mind so much being chilly all the time, and being light-headed, and all, if it means decreased risk of the conditions associated with HIGH blood pressure.

What's your blood pressure like, Prox?

In the office, my blood pressure consistently measures on the low side of normal, but they said that it was perfectly acceptable (and even expected) for someone my age who's in good health (but that was before I kept almost falling out...er, before I told them about it, anyway); I'll have to bring that up at my next appointment (on the 25th).
Thank you, Lioneye.

Well, that's good...You're welcome, luv... I just knew it was probaby low. Do you tend to breath kinda slow? Like, almost forgetting to sometimes? Try not to lay on your back, sloping up especially, like you need to be told that, but I wanted to put it out there anyways...

I have a reason to contribute to the "today was a fantabulous day because" thread because...dan da na nah!! it was my last day before I start my holiday in Louisiana...Mardi Gras...whooo hooo! *I'm not flashing my boobs for beeds*...Anyone here ever experience Mardi Gras in New Orleans? Anyone else going?

My plane leaves at 2:50 pm tomorrow. yeeeee!

TWAFD because....I ran into my "first crush" for the third time at college after not seeing him for like 5 or 6 years, and today, he recognized me for the first time, and said "hi", and we chatted for a good 15 minutes!!! He's just as amazing-looking as he was before, but has filled out a bit, which suits him. I was so stunned, I almost fainted when he called me by my name. He has the coolest voice and I just wanted to video record our meeting so I could watch it over and over...::sigh::

Hehe...::giggles::
pixelpixie, yes, I suppose I am a die-hard true romantic at heart.... Moon and Venus in Leo, Mars in Virgo, all withing a few degrees of each other, the first two in the fifth house, last one in the sixth.

aha~ The fifth house! Should've known. I have a fifth house venus too.... also in a fire sign, Sag. The sixth house seems appropriate for Virgo.. oh, right, that must mean you have Aries rising... which makes sense, given your name. So you are a true representation of the natural zodiac ... Venus seems right in Leo, somehow. The right house anyhoo... I share your feelings upon meeting someone, I swoon.. I Love Love... I love pleasure and good feelings and sharing, and reliving and daydreaming... But then, my Venus is conjunct neptune in the fifth.. so I sort of don't see things realistically and then am shocked to wake up and find "I've lost that lovin' feeling" I have to continually refresh the memory stockpile and always keep precious moments on the horizon, to go on dreamng and being in love. People disappoint me, inevitably.. or maybe it is me disappointing them. HHHmmmmm..... I always seem to initiate the end of things.
Sorry, didn't mean to take over.......

TODAY WAS A FANTABULOUS DAY BECAUSE I GOT TO (kinda sorta) SEE JASON!

His WOCS class was/is having a car wash, and I went on through. I just so happened to get into the right line - the one in which he was the sudser-upper guy on the driver's side. We got to make faces at each other for a couple minutes, and I got to see him mouth, "I love you," (although I feel kinda bad, as I stuck my tongue out just as he did that & I didn't have a chance to say anything else b/c he had to keep moving down the car).

But I got to seeeee him,
I got to seeeee him -
and we both got to grin like goofnuts
