Doreen Virtue’s 2004 Outlook *** Doreen is a Spiritual Clairvoyant and her site can be found here: http://www.angeltherapy.com/ *** Annually, Archangel Michael gives us a Divine assignment and a “watch word” defining the theme of the upcoming year. 2004's watch word is, “Strength.” Michael asks us to focus on developing mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical strength now, and into this coming year. Exercise your body and mind regularly; detox your body; gain mastery over your appetites; heal the emotions; and in general: take yourself to your highest potential, starting now. He also asks you to become a strong and united force ushering integrity into the world. Build on your previous years’ lessons of building personal integrity; learning to trust your intuition; and learning how to receive. With this foundation, you’re asked to trust your gut about corruption or lies. Be willing to receive resources that support your life’s mission. Surrender for spiritual healing, any part of your life that’s off-balance or not working. 2004 will be a year when lightworkers become more vocal about politics, the environment, and social issues. Here is what the angels showed and told me when I asked them about 2004: Food safety will be a huge issue for 2004. The angels showed me “mad cow disease” coming to America one week before the news reports hit. This will definitely continue. They show me that canned tuna fish will also be in the news, and some will be labeled unsafe and pulled from the shelves. Pesticides in food will emerge as a large health concern, pushing more people to try organics, particularly for infant babies. McDonald’s will be slapped on the wrists for violating the law, but it will bounce back. The fast food chain will continue to suffer financial losses, as sales decline again in 2004. Technology will also be huge news. In 2004, we’ll see both the dark and the light side of technology. This is NOT a good year to have tech stocks. We will see amazing technological gains in the automotive and oil industry, with inventions that I can’t understand when they’re shown to me, but that are very gee-whiz wonderful. GMC Chrysler will announce new car technology. Yet, we’ll also have Web-site blackouts, where servers will be disabled, possibly by attackers. Back up your data, everyone! Terrorist attacks will continue, including a train derailment and a bombing; however, they won’t have the desired effect of breaking the American spirit. In 2004, the American patriotic spirit will grow stronger, even for those who are cynical or apathetic. Instead of going into fear, people worldwide will become stronger for weathering these storms. A strong resurgence of the American Democratic political party will gain attention. The summer Olympics may be delayed, altered, or even cancelled because of terrorist threats and activity. Some countries will blame the Bush administration for continued terrorism, and other countries will have deeper sympathy for America. The war in Iraq will continue; however, pressure on Bush will cause him to publicly discuss plans to end the situation to appease the public. If Howard Dean is elected, the situation will be resolved significantly more quickly than if Bush continues in office. A serious scandal in the Bush administration may be its down-fall. It begins with in-fighting among cabinet members, and black-mail, which results in one member revealing secrets to the press. A Watergate-like situation results, and reports of pay-offs related to the Iraq war and oil, are front page news. While it’s not written in stone, Howard Dean has an excellent chance of being our next President. Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t likely to re-run for Governor, because he’ll dislike the scandal regarding the allegations of his sexual impropriety, and because of the general stress of politics. School boards across the nation will unite to protest further educational budget cuts. This will create media attention about the programs which have been cut at public schools, and will trigger public outcry that leads to politicians posturing to look good before election, by increasing school budgets. We will see a huge change in the Vatican, including a new pope, and a change in tradition. Acid rain and an arid dry summer drought, especially in the midwest. Media attention on stored nuclear weapons in America. A resounding bounce-back for the American dollar. The stock market stays strong, except for farm futures, which level and dip because of news reports of food safety issues, mad cow disease, and drought conditions. Not a good time to buy or have tech stocks, as well. Tobacco companies are called to task for inflating claims of low-nicotine cigarettes. Plastic “disposable” diapers and water bottles become the target of environmental campaigns seeking to reduce landfills. Some near-extinct birds are bred successfully, bringing hope of reviving the species. Gardening becomes a very hot topic, and popular hobby. Solar flairs are a big issue in 2004, along with news of the Polar Icecap melting. Outerspace will be in the news in 2004. Photographs and discoveries about our galaxy and distant galaxies will have scientists scratching their heads and rewriting some beliefs. The news will inspire awe in those who are spiritually minded. New archeological discoveries will also give more insight into dinosaurs and prehistoric man. Teenagers and young adults become more vocal, led by young musicians with politically and socially involved song lyrics. The “Indigo Children” become major instigators of political change, mirroring the protest movements of the 1960's. They demand a government with integrity and respect for the environment and humanity. juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Oh no, the Mad Cow reference again. In my heart of hearts, I also sense that Howard Dean will have a good chance of being next president. Juniperb, I'm starting to rethink my John Titor conclusion. Mmmmm...we'll find out eventually. I ate Mcdonalds about a week ago, and let's just say my stomach became very unhappy. -StarLover IP: Logged |

juniperb, we're on the same wavelength today! I was thinking about this one too. Doesn't look too good for Dean at this point, to have lost both Iowa and NH. He'll have to pull a rabbit out of a hat... IP: Logged |

Many months ago I sensed a lot of competition will be between John Kerry and Howard Dean. John Kerry was doing very poorly in the polls, and Howard Dean was doing excellent. Now it looks like the tables have turned. However, I predict it won't be that way for a very long time. There will be a lot of competition between these two candidates, and I believe we must hope that Howard Dean wins out. The reason is because I sense that if John Kerry runs against Bush, Bush will definitely win, and if Bush wins he will only drag the problems we have even further. Not only that, but the Patriot Act II will be in action. Howard Dean should become the president for the best interest of our country. He'll be the only one capable enough to clean up and leave Iraq. Remember, Bush will continue to drag our problems, and will bring out Patriot Act II. Howard Dean is a much more capable president in my eyes. He's enthusiastic, fresh, and will try hard to make things better. He might not succeed, but he'll try, and that is good enough for me. Howard Dean isn't shady, and maybe that is why he might not win.-StarLover IP: Logged |

Dean had such a good start, but now I think the media is pushing to bash him. I just want someone who can beat Bush. Great predictions. I am feeling that emphasis on Strength. Crossing my fingers...... IP: Logged |

The mention of Kerry was in reference to the prediction that Dean might be the next President, not to spark political discussion. Everyone here is already polarized enough when it comes to politics. We're adults, we can make our own decisions on politics.Sheesh. IP: Logged |

Uhhhh, that picture of Dean does not in any way look "doctored". If you believe it is, please point out the indicators you see!I didn't politicize this thread. Y'all started that with your political statements. In any event, buckle up because if Kerry is the eventual Democrat nominee, his conniving, traitorous, two faced, hypocritical past is going to be front and center in the campaign. Just keep your eyes tightly shut to the truth and maybe it will pass you by. IP: Logged |

I was talking about the 1st pic posted of Kerry. Note Kerry in black and white. What does truth have to do with politics? They are mutually exclusive. And it's that kind of condescension, jwhop, that urges me to leave LL, because it is certainly not in keeping with her memory. Nor is posting doctored pictures of kittens being mutilated. Jwhop - Yeah - that was in reference to the first picture of Kerry (note the "texturing" , indicative of having been scanned-in from a newspaper or similiar medium - only on the image of Kerry, not the flag...which is of a different tone set entirely, anyway), although...now that you mention it, I don't see how you can consider that one of Dean as anything but doctored: the points of focus aren't even the same (they don't even stay consistent through the length of kitten's body). I hope you were kidding. This wasn't/isn't a political debate - why did you make it so, and in such a hostile manner? You're a fine guy, but please keep that crap - or at least rhetoric of that tenor - in Global Unity. IP: Logged |

Truth has a lot to do with politics but you won't find too much truth in the American Press. That's the reason they are losing readers and advertising dollars. That picture of Kerry has been in the public domain for almost 30 years. It's authentic as is his testimony before Congress that his fellow Vietnam service personnel cut off heads, ears, limbs, shot and generally tortured Vietnamese civilians. That would make Kerry a war criminal if it was him and his men and would make him derelict in his duty if he saw those activities and didn't report the event. So, you can deny the authenticity of the picture if you want but it's real and the real John Kerry is going to be shown for what he is in the coming months. There are other pictures of Kerry and his merry little band of Hanoi sympathizers carrying North Vietnam flags, dressed in tattered US military uniforms with North Vietman patches sewed on and carrying the US Flag upside down. You can bet Kerry gets the North Vietnam General Giap's vote. I am not in any way kidding. quote: Starlover33 The reason is because I sense that if John Kerry runs against Bush, Bush will definitely win, and if Bush wins he will only drag the problems we have even further. Okay - Okay, I am totally against animal abuse BUT COME ON....that picture was kind of funny with Howdy Doodie-Dean and the kitty. Of course it was doctored - but really it was kind of cute. I know he would never hurt an animal (at least I hope not ) By the way, sorry if I offended anyone by laughing at the picture. IP: Logged | |
