While cleaning and listening to Santana (because I've discovered that no cleaning will ever get done unless an audio rocket is put up my butt), I decided that a particular part of (Da Le) Yaleo by Santana - shortly before/around the 4 minute mark - sounds just like sex. Not making love, but sex. Really good sex. Listen to it and you'll catch the part I'm talking about - just as the trumpets and drums seem to simultaneously grapple and coalesce. Of course, that could be what the song's actually about for all I know; as far as I can figure "da le" means "it gives him", but I can't find a meaning or reference for "Yaleo". Any Spanish-speakers wanna help a girl out?Anyone else notice similar parts of songs? (I don't mean necessarily that they "sound like sex", but that they evoke something to you.) IP: Logged |

I agree. I saw Santana live in concert after that album came out and the entire collection is great!IP: Logged |

yeah, totally, prox. Madonna's "Ray of Light" has an instrumental part in it, with Madonna going "Oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-aw-aw-ah-ah-aahhh-ahhh-ahhhhhh-ahhhhhhhhhhhh" to the beat, which always sounded to me like someone gettin it good and hard, so much so that her voice sounds jarring (sounds like doggie style heehee)Audio rocket in your butt, hey? Interesting. Whenever I hear "Genie in a Bottle" by Christina A, I think my cell-phone is ringing. Some kind of techno-funky instrument in the mix sounds alot like my cell-phone when it's in my jacket pocket. Tricks me everytime, dammit! LOL. IP: Logged |
