Yeah! that's the eye! Thankyou! The photo that was emailed to me was a more close up look at the center of your photo, but it is still the same! Isn't it scary? What do you think about the Eye of God?IP: Logged |

Here's another pic of it: The image depicts the so-called Helix Nebula, described by astronomers as "a trillion-mile-long tunnel of glowing gases." At its center is dying, Sun-like star which has ejected masses of dust and gas to form tentacle-like filaments stretching toward an outer rim composed of the same material. The Sun itself may look like this in several billion years. IP: Logged |

Good lawd! That sure is spooky, isn't it? I'm starting to suspect that the photo may have been doctered, just slightly, blacking out the orangy colored dust on the top and bottem to give it that eye shape. And, by the way...who ever said God had blue eyes? Sounds rather arien to me...as in arien race, Hitler's brain child. (not trying to 'get on a soap box' or anything...just splitting cosmic hairs) But I have to admit, this phenomenum makes for some cool photo ops. As soon as I get home, I think I'm going to make this pic my desk top. It's way cool. (thanks Prox, sweetie pie) IP: Logged |

Greetings...Well Lioneye68, I'd imagine that God's eyes will be whatever color you want them to be and that She will appear in whatever form you might find most pleasing. I think He has a way of appearing to people in the most perfect way for them to perceive Her. Sort of like in Joan of Arcadia. Personally I don't think that we can begin to comprehend the actual appearance of the Creator(s), so they would appear to us in a way that would make us feel the most comfortable. I mean if we can't see God in each other's faces.. how will we ever be able to perceive the truth of what God really is? Just a thought... In the Light... A P.S. Personally I'd like her to appear as George Burns.. I think that would be a hoot! Failing that, I wouldn't mind the "little girl with glasses look" that God has used several times on Joan of Arcadia. She's a trip! P.P.S. That first image totally looks "doctored", though I find the second more likely. Fascinating. ------------------ "The ALL is MIND; the Universe is Mental." *** The Kybalion IP: Logged |

Oh, of course it's doctored.Nasa adds color to all their photos, I read somewhere.. (Discover magazine, I think..) They do it cause mostly space phenomenon has a dull grey cast to it. They figure people will get more excited and notice the spectacular details of a photo if there is some color added. Kind bugs me.. Like we are little kids whose attention spans wander if we aren't engaged with something involving bright colors.. Oh wait.. we are kind like that as a culture, aren't we? IP: Logged |

I read on www.snopes.com that the picture is a composite of several NASA photos. George Burns as God...I kinda dug Morgan Freeman as God, too. But I like all your faces as God/dess, too. IP: Logged |

Greetings...Randall... I love Joan, I think she brings a very human element to her dealings with the Divine, and that she has the chutzpah to tell God what she's really thinking and feeling... particularly when she's not happy with him, is not only endearing, but an accurate depiction of how our dealings with Deity should be. We should be able to tell God when we are ****** at Her, and when we don't understand what the hell He wants us to to in a given situation. We should be friends with God, and partners.. not docile little, awe-filled, puppets. I also used to love Touched By an Angel.. in a different sort of way. Interestingly, both Roma Downey (Monica) and Amber Tamblyn (Joan) are both Taureans! In the Light... A
