Well, to those of you who did watch, what did you think? Ah I can't believe Ross and Rachel got back together, twas splendid really. I am gonna miss the show but there's always reruns!!!IP: Logged |

Dorkus, Friends is my favorite t.v. program. It was an excellent finale and I loved the surprises and innuendos of past shows. My question is: how is Monica going to handle all that baby poop/vomit and crayon marks on her wall juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Now that would have been a finale Phebes married Mike and Joey is moving to Hollywood. He has the only spin off sitcom. Monica & Chandler had twins (adoption). juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

It was the absolute happiest one hour event ever on television (and also the saddest). I don't think there was a dry eye in all 45 million homes. I wish they had adopted two seasons ago, so we could see Monica deal with her clean compulsion. I feel like a part of my Life is now over. Thank God/Dess for the show "Joey" next season! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." We'll see Monica with the twins on the Reunion Show in a couple of years. The one thing that I wanted to see...while Ross and Rachel were kissin' in his apartment, I wanted all the people in Monica's apt. to be pointing out the window exclaiming "Ross and Rachel! Ross and Rachel!" -- a la the episode in which Phoebe first sees Monica and Chandler. I enjoyed the final show, it was satisfying. I'm a real sap when it comes to happy and sad endings, but surprisingly this one didn't bring a tear to my eye. Favorite episodes...one would be The One Where Everyone Finds Out, about Monica and Chandler. Very clever farse, very funny. Hmmm, also the one where Ross and Rachel do it for the first time. Rolling over on that box of juice, funny. And Thanksgiving with Chandler in a box. I'm not crazy about spin off shows, but Frazier did it and went on to be one of the best sitcoms of all time...so I wish the best for Joey. Highly underrated actor, it ain't easy to act that dumb and still be as loveable as he is. IP: Logged |

My favorite was when Monica made the penis cap out of bologna( I think it was bologna) for Joey so he could star in a nude movie Rachels ugly pink dress tucked in her undies, the juice box, fat naked ugly guy, ... there were so many ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

awww. I always had the theory that in the end they would all be neatly paired off together. I really liked the episode where Joey is dating Ursula and at the end Pheobe wears the sweater that Joey had given to Urs and they kiss. Joey realizes it's Pheobe because the kiss is ~*magic*~. I'm such a sucker for sentimental stuff like that..I bet if they weren't trying to get a spinoff out of it Pheob and Joe would have ended up together. Oh well, that Mike fellow was quite a catch! I can't wait for the finale to come out on video..... ------------------ The role of religion is to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. :::P.T. Barnum IP: Logged |

The 90's are really, truly, officially OVER.An institution has closed its doors. I am not going to place too much emphasis on the importance of a random TV show, but Friends was a cultural phenomenon, one which I chose to ignore until about 2 years ago. Yes, I watched the finale, and the major conflict was solved- Ross and Rachel. We all knew it, right? But still, I bet everyone 20 bucks the Joey sitcom will BOMB. Great. No more X-files, no more Friends, no more Frasier. Pretty soon ER will get yanked too, and it will be nothing but reality shows.............blech..........

I saw the finale, and I've watched a lot of the show. I never tuned in consistently, so for a while, every time I turned it on, I seemed to always catch the episode where Rachel made the trifle. Gotta love it. (Same thing with Seinfeld-for the longest time I only seemed to catch the episode with Elaine dancing) IP: Logged |

MK, noooo! Anything but reality shows! I will admit I started watchin Friends a couple of months ago but I am so sad to see it go. No doubt Joey won't be as good, but I'll still watch it hehe My mom always thought Joey and Phoebe should get together but that would have been awkward, I think. Well at least there is Nick at Nite so I can get my Cosby Show fix on IP: Logged |

Oxy, Isn't that weird how you watch something on and off and you always see the same episode? The same thing happens to me, I always see that episode of Seinfeld with Kramer's mangos LOL There is another great show while we are on the subject of sitcoms, what is the best episode of Seinfeld? I like the Junior Mint one and the one with George's 'shrinkage' Great stuff! IP: Logged |

I DISAGREE!! I think the show "Joey" will be an awesome hit. I think new cast members will be great. After all, the same producers will be on the show. -StarLover IP: Logged |

NBC: The network is feeling a lot of love for Joey. The entire pilot episode of the Friends spinoff starring Matt LeBlanc will be shown Monday to ad executives gathered in Radio City Music Hall to get a look at the network's fall schedule. Usually, new shows are cut down to clips of six minutes or so — a length where almost any you-know-what can shine. But the internal buzz for Joey is strong enough to convince NBC president Jeff Zucker & Co. that it will play well in the typically tough room of media buyers who will be deciding where to place nearly $9 billion in TV ad dollars based on what they see next week. "Even the harshest critics at NBC on the East Coast say it's the best pilot they've seen here in 10 years," said one insider.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." YAY! That's great news, Randall. My girlfriends and I have "Friends Night" every Thrusday. I have Tivo, so we usually make it a marathon. Maybe have a bottle of wine and just be silly girls. There wasn't a dry eye in my house durring the last episode. I was totally caught off gaurd by "the twins thing" ... never saw that coming. I kinda wish they would have spent more time talking about where Pheobe and Mike's lives were going to take them. Like mabye moving to some exotic country... or Why couldn't Pheobe and Mike buy the house next door to Monica and Chandler? That would have been cool. I'm sure the Joey show at some point will incorporate the other characters from time to time (given it lasts long enough). We're going to continue our "Friends Night" on Thursday nights. We'll just watch re-runs... or nothing at all. The point was always really just to have a kid-free, grown-up girls night. My alltime most favorite episode was the Monica/Chandler engagement episode. I STILL cry at the re-runs of that one!! IP: Logged |

They are showing two hours of friends this Thursday--the supersize one (Joey on Pyramid) and the finale again (for those who missed it). In between will be ten minutes of a new Seinfeld short film. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
