Hi everyoneCould you all send some healing light this way for my older daughter Amanda? Was at the hospital nearly 6 hours today awaiting test results after a Dr. appointment ended with a recommendation she go to emergency. She'd seen the Dr. because she was having a lot of pain in her lower right side and after researching symptoms, she became concerned she may have appendicitis. The bloodwork and the catscan didn't reveal anything though, so after a pelvic it was found she has an ovarian cyst. Some may remember this time last year...my younger girl went through this and at 17 wound up losing an ovary. Also last year Amanda had a cyst on an ovary but a few days before HER scheduled surgery, an ultra sound indicated the cyst had "dissolved". That was her left ovary then; now this is her right one. It's odd. Last year when this was going on with Melinda...transiting Saturn was forming an exact conjunction to my natal Mars, in my 4th house. Now, TRANSITING Mars and Saturn are conjunct, and still in my 4th, plus transiting Uranus is forming a square to both Amanda's and my Suns (BD's one day apart). Anyway, please keep us in your thoughts/prayers? Thanks.

to you and your daughter. Even if it all turns out without any far-reaching repercussions, I know how painful ovarian cysts can be if they rupture.I wish you all all of the best. IP: Logged |

white light and healing energy to you, Amanda. I've had two of those bad boys removed myself. Both were dermoid cysts. The second one was the size of a grapefruit, and I lost my right ovary because of it....actually, the worst part of the whole experience was the after effects of the gas they filled up my abdomen with to 'spread things out a little'. Bleh! Felt like I had been hit by a mac track. Especially my arms and shoulders. Had me wondering if the docter had used my arms for skipping ropes while I was under....lol... I hope she doesn't have to have surgery. Many cysts just disolve on their own, but not dermoid cysts. They contain solid materals, like hair, skin cells, teeth...It's like an egg decides to become a baby on it's own, without being fertilized. The human body is a weird thing sometimes. IP: Logged |

for Amanda.I've not ever had ovarian cysts, but I have had my appendix rupture and had to have emergency surgery to remove what was left of it and the gangrene from my large intestine. First they thought it was my ovaries, then maybe a tubal pregnancy... finally did an ultrasound and couldn't find my appendix. Should have been my first clue, but I thought that meant I was gonna get to go home. My surgery was an emergency surgery, so I didn't have an oppertunity to get all worked up with anxiety about it... else I probably would have. ... one more for Amanda. She will be in my prayers. ------------------ *~We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors... but hey all exist very nicely in the same box.~*

Hi all Just a quick update: Amanda saw her gyno yesterday and upon exam was told he saw nothing wrong, that "everything looked fine". She will be getting an ultra sound this afternoon though, because he wants to rule out a few other things, one still being a possible problem with her appendix. I'll keep you posted, and THANK YOU to all who responded to my request. Bless you! IP: Logged |

Hi everyone Well, here's the latest on Amanda. She had the ultra sound the other day and spoke to her Dr. yesterday, who told her everything looked fine. but !! In the meantime, she's been feeling better; a lot less pain and was up and around without needing to rest in between, by today. Could be that the IV antibiotics were enough to resolve any infection or flareup she may have had with her appendix. Then again I'm sure the good thoughts sent from here didn't hurt either. We're just going to have to keep an eye on things I guess. We had an "appendix scare" a lot like this 5 years ago. Anyway, for now...everything looks good, so again...thank you everyone who took the time to respond. You're the best. IP: Logged |
