I heard about this guy who was hospitalized for eating cicadas; apparantly he had an allergic reaction and he was spotted...red, I think.

they're starting to die off...I live inthe city and i still see them laying dead on the sidewalk.

I will never eat them even though some say they taste like asparagus or pistachios.

thank god they don't.."taste like chicken".

I was 11 seventeen years ago when there were here...I remember it being much much worse than it is now. It's odd...with such huge red eyes...they really can't see too well...they will fly into you....almost seems purposeful.
