Ahhh.. You two.... Paras, I am glad I could make you smile! How are you feeling today? Don't let your dreams control you.. just see their purpose and keep sharing! Even the negative ones teach.. probably more than the positive ones, really. You should seriously find an dexcuse to go to the park for a little while.. It was so liberating for me. Just think of the whoooooosh of the wind. What about themeparks, and those awesome old-school swing rides?! Those are the best... just when you think.. Oh, I am getting tired of this, it swoops you up a little further and makes you happy again. Just wear lace-up shoes. I don't care how old I am.... the minute I stop playing is when I stop being me.. and I am too strong willed to let that happen. Just let go. I am mature enough to know I can be immature with the best of them. Trillian! So happy you took time out to taste the beauty and treat yourself! How are things going...... Finished the final read through on the book? Titles? Searching yet for an editor/ publisher? I don't want to beat you if you are taking a break, just curious! IP: Logged |

Ummm Paras, Exactly how thick and wide is the teeter totter board? How much does the ball weigh? Is it a ball? Do you realize in your first example, the ball is not perfectly balanced to begin with? (It's a shade to the Left). Just to play devil's advocate, this is only a two dimentional version, adding another dimention or two could expand ideas about what else is there. The visual problem you presented reminds me of those "intelligence tests" where the only possible answers are the ones they give you to choose from. If you don't see the problem their way, does that make you any less intelligent? Apparently it does. Actually my post has nothing to do with you or your post, I just have this "thing" about perspective. Please, don't take offense. Mary IP: Logged |

To continue, Daf: the post I removed was an attempt to describe an idea, a little visionary, a little utopian. The words do not yet exist to explain it to those who see "just a forum". Therefore I decide, for now, to instead offer encouragement and support to anyone like you who wants to try things out, experiment with things to "flesh out" Lindaland. Of course there will be mistakes: for instance, I wondered if the chat room might be better situated in the existing facility at Lindaland photoshop, where at least there are pictures to look at if yu arrive when nobody is there.IP: Logged |

mak, let's not forget that the posts you deleted were very unclear, some were addressed to Juni, and were very rude.Pixie...the read-through/edit is almost done...and then yes, looking for an agent/publisher. Wish me luck! Philbird... I adore a fellow devil's advocate. There's always more than one way to skin a cat...there are always alternate ways to see everything. Change your perspective and you change the world. IP: Logged |
