Yeeeeeeeeup.. s'me again.. where are you guys? *whispers* It's Midsummer's and almost finished log in time..

.. something interesting I found today - archaeologists have found 4,000 year old skeletons of men who helped transport the stones from Wales..

How'd they know just from the skeletons' location that they helped move the stones though? And how'd they know it was from West Wales?? Maybe it was the stone type;

Hello Special

I am here reading along. How are you?

Thanks so much for the information and proper spelling of Summer Solstice. Hope you don't mind me asking to keep the information and stories coming!

There are freshly blooming roses, and handmade drip waxed candles sitting at home. I am thinking of baking a sweetly spiced cake tonight in celebration of Apollo.

So far, these are the ingredients . . .

Flour
Corn Meal
Baking Powder
Honey
Eggs
A glass of tea
Oil
Sea Salt
Cardamon
Cinnamon
Ginger
Nutmeg

A.

Happy Summer Solstice EveryOne!

"One climbs the Aha, the lonesome place of the majestic soul,
the high room of the intelligence which moves across the sky,
one now opens the door of the horizon building of the primordial
god of the two countries in order to see the mystery of Horus shining."
- Karnak 840bc.

OOooo.. helllooo!!

Thanks pixie, you're a doll, hope you, hubby and the kiddos had a good one

Hey Aphrodite! I'm good thank you - was a bit tearful yesterday though (silly girl) Hey.. I've always spelt the Solstice - that way.. don't think it's correct as such, I think it's spelt both ways?

Anyways - you're festive food sounds so delicious see the instant admiration of food? Can't help being a ! What a great midsummer's setting - fresh flowers, handmade candles, sweet spiced cake!! *drooling*

Ah of course, the celebration of Apollo - did you mean Apollo 11? Anyways, always good to remember these things.

Pity I'm on a different timezone to most of you - would've replied and asked how it all went - must have been magical! I lit some candles, the sky was magnificent!

How did it all go? I love the Karnak quote,

Did anyone have any 'significant' dreams on midsummer's eve? I kinda forgot mine - they say once you look out of the window you're dreams fly away.. and I got up loads!

The main thread of my dream involved walking and talking with my cousin, Joseph. Being an only child, Joe's the closest thing to a brother to me and love him dearly. We were walking through all these other dreams, and into the future and we seemed to be the only ones left? It was stange.

What significance is it if you start your menses on a Solstice? I feel so 'part of the cycle' now... if a little bloated and achy.......
