Thanks, sweet ladies!!Trillian.. I wanted to tell you.. I didn't respond to that 'vapid' post, as you know, I had my say, and the rest would be redundant... but I was going to, as I read the first post after my last one, I copy and pasted exactly the same lines you did, and my response was worded the same way yours was ( on wordpad...) then I scrolled down to read the rest of the thread.. and lo and behold, you took the words right out of my mouth!!! I thought that was hilarious, and wanted to share. So I didn't end up responding to that thread. No use, really.....*shrug* Glad you are enjoying the self tanner! Isn't it 'sublime'? And the scent..... fabulous! IP: Logged |

Special~ I am actually all right. Of course things will never be the same... but I think I see the positive within my own personal life, and the ways his passing has affectd my relationship.. or should I say, my commitment to my relationship. I feel more solid. So many reasons. I love my Aries. IP: Logged |

Pixie, we think alike so often, it's uncanny. And very cooooool. Special, that thread is around here somewhere, in Free for All...I'll have to find it when I get the chance. I am so careful about tanning--vanity. Complete Vanity. I don't want too much sun, because I don't want wrinkles. But I do like a litte color, especially on my legs. So I've been using the L'Oreal that pixie recommended. BUT, a friend at work has been using the inexpensive "No AD" self tanner, and it works better than mine! When I go to the beach, though...I allow myself to get a little tan. IP: Logged |

No-Ad? I'll have to check that out.. It isn't as luxurious, it's kinda stinky, but man, you get alot of bang for the buck! Maybe I will try it and let you know how my results are.... Thanks for the heads up!IP: Logged |

Cool trillian, until we do.. trillian/pixie I've tried the L'Oreal one and it seems to be the best high street brand about. Got the spray can one at the mo, so easy to use.For the best colour I love St Tropez and Au Colourant - that's really dark tho' but lush! Both have aloe in and feel lovely on my skin I use sparingly unless I wanna flash my pins cos it's a tad pricey! That's where L'Oreal works it's magic the rest of the time Is 'No AD' US only? Can't be only U.S., Cos I am Canadian! We sedll it here though....No-Ad.. (Not advertised) So they can give you lowered prices, as they go on reputation only. Kinda' noble. I want to support them... Commercials are informative, but damn, they suck me in with their sensuality.. I'm like "oooooh, I wanna try that!!!!! I want that luster/scent/look, etc." not that I am gullible, but I do like to try things.. inevitably in this culture, it is a dissappointng setup.. nothing can be "THE" answer, it's just a product. But still.... see? I was less eager to use the No-Ad because of that, maybe? Or because I smelled it, and my nose didn't like it.... whatever. at myself. I dunno if it is only available in North America. If you've not heard of it, then maybe so..... oh poop.IP: Logged |
