Rainbow. I am the mommy holding the child on the couch.. that's my daughter Claire. (I dyed my hair dark in December- It's back to red w/ lighter streaks now.) There is a picture of me when I was a child, with strawberry shortcake pajamas in th background. The pics are mostly my son and daughter and myself. Hubby doesn't want to be in here.IP: Logged |

Hi Paras,Did you grow up eating udon soup and dons? They are so good I could live on miso soup for a long, long time. Ahh. I don't wear shoes inside my apartment too. Kind of like it that way, actually. Aphrodite IP: Logged |

Paras,Those dimples are a dead giveaway, aren't they? Aw, c'mon Paras... let's see your pic. No FAIR!! What's kinda eerie about the pic of hubby and me??? The pic with my little girls was taken in Hawaii. We lived there for a year. Now we're back in Washington. Country girl? Nah... not me. I grew up in the hood, on the streets of Long Beach California. I'm a Hip Hop girl of sorts I suppose. Besides... how many country girls do you know with body piercings? I sure have had my fair share of hardship... I've had both of our fair share of hardship, with enough left over to be annoying I am an absolute optimist at heart. Always trying to look at the bright side... else life would be depressing. I can't stand to be depressed. I thrive on happiness. I enjoy the simple pleasures of life. That is correct. And, I'm not too matirialistic. I have 4 prized posessions. 2 fairy lamps and 2 paper mache butterflies. All together their value couldn't be more than $300. So... you're pretty right on. Except for the country girl thing. BUT... I do come from a long line of trailer owners from Arizona IP: Logged |

Thanks Trill.. yeah.. I got that before.. my ex compared me to her in "Henry and June" and also Drew Barrymore (everyone knows someone who looks like her) and Julia Roberts.. more so when I was skinnier/hair darker. You remind me of someone I know too.... maybe because I am so familiar with you here.. a look of sweet wisdom and serene beauty about you. Also a touch of hmmmm... mischief.... those eyebrows!!! I love them.. so Arien. My maiden name is Ariens- by the way. Maybe that's why I get along with y'all so much.

Sorry ladies but I don't share your opinion that second hand cigar smoke out in the open on a beach with a 20mph wind blowing is a health hazard to little Nicole. The cigar is in my mouth because she tried to snatch my Monte Cristo out of my hand and she's unhappy because she failed.

In answer to your questions regarding the guitar, it is a Squier Bullet (my knockaround guitar) I'm saving up for a Fender Strat though, with a maple fretboard. I play any kind of music that strikes my fancy at the time, a lot of alt/rock stuff though (green day, nirvana, red hot chili peppers, blink-182). It has become, in a way an emotional outlet of sorts Amber, I love your hair Great pics! Keep em' coming everyone IP: Logged |

WELL.I hope you are ALL HAPPY NOW. "Where's the picture of you, paras?" "When do we get to see you?" And what do I get for my troubles? I have had blue goop squirted all over my head. Then various other unmentionable chemicals. I told my friend we needed to check my hair before taking pictures. And did he have any chemicals to HOLD MY STUPID MOP IN PLACE!!! I HAVE BLUE HAIR NOW, DAMMIT!!!! I guess he thinks this is fun. I do not. Now, as soon as he lets me, I am going to wash my hair. Repeatedly. Then, MAYBE, if I have any strength of will left, I will get a REAL picture taken. See you all in a couple hours. <sigh.> IP: Logged |

Ok, I have pictures. I won't bore you all with descriptions of the severe psychological trauma I have suffered tonight. You will have to be a little patient. Despite his many wonderful and costly technological toys, he seems to have skimped in the digital camera department. He only has webcams. (I took great delight in mentioning to him my belief that only perverts have webcams.) So the picture quality isn't all that great. It's not terrible either -- BUT. I want to spend a few minutes cleaning them up with PaintShop. Which I can't do until I get a new monitor. Which I will be going to get in the morning. Aaaaannnnd, this b*****d doesn't even keep sugar, milk, or creamer in his house! I've had to drink my coffee BLACK all night!!! It's not easy being me. IP: Logged |

Aphrodite,I never ate those things, but my dad was a great cook, and very handy with a wok. When he made fried rice, gyoza, or stir-fry, no one could refuse an inviation to dinner. IP: Logged |

My loving fellow Knowflakes,I got my new monitor this morning. Thank the gods, I can see red again. A little too much at first... well, let's just say that I must be having a difficult transit or something. I have only had two hours of sleep, and have done a lot of running around today. So please excuse me if I am a little OFF right now. Anyway. If you are still curious to ogle the body I'm currently housed in, you can do so at: http://photobucket.com/albums/v105/paras_nimh/misc/ 'paras-blue' is my reaction to having stiff, messy, blue hair. 'paras01' and 'paras02' are me as I normally look, except for the fact that I have gel in my hair. I am letting it grow out long, and it usually isn't quite that neat. Go ahead, look if you dare. I hope you have a strong stomach. You should send young children out of the room before following the above link. On the bright side, you can print it out, and put it in your kitchen, and it will keep ants, roaches, mice, and other vermin away. In 24 hours, I will take the pictures down, partly because of EPA laws regarding visual pollution, and partly because I am uneasy having pictures of me floating about the 'net. If you download any of them, you are sworn never to show them or give copies of them to anyone, ever. I am trusting you!!! If you think about breaking that trust, just ask yourself, "What would Linda think?" Anyway, if you do pass them around, I will send Foamy, the Lord and Master himself, to unleash his squirrelly wrath upon you. I hope you all appreciate it. I didn't have to endure the trauma of blue hair and faulty monitors and my warped self-image, you know! Damn the Libran tendency to be fair! BLEAH! And don't say I didn't warn you!!! IP: Logged |

Rainbow, I really like the picture of your father. He has a very strong nose and great shape. Also his eyes seem to tell a story - very pensive and intelligent. The headress is beautiful. Just thought I would share that. IP: Logged |
